Who else hates that apple logo in front of the MacBook Pro?

my mum does that with toshiba notebook. it's more of a protest than anything; the people at her work won't let her get a Mac, even though it can do everything her toshiba can do, and more.

the dj was using scratch live or final scratch with that book.

and to the original post of this thread, lifes too short to hate stuff heehehe.

My Dell has an Apple logo sticker slapped to the side of it. It makes me want to hurt myself less when I have to operate on it. Can someone pass me the scalpel?
 
The glowing :apple: is a classy touch on their notebooks. All makers have their logos on the screen back, not just Apple. Just that Apple put its unique twist on it to stand out from the sea of lesser notebooks.
 
I still don't quite understand why you want to cover it up or remove it.

Interesting, nonetheless.

It doesn't, actually.

Whether you like it depends on how much you like rocking a logo on your stuff. I don't like logos on clothes, and actually, I don't like it on my laptop, either. I used to think it was kind of cool that the Apple symbol glowed, but now it's just a logo like any other.

Just be glad that Apple attempted to make the logo interesting, unlike everyone else. ;)

Of course, I realize it's very very hard to find a laptop with no logos on the laptop, so I just ignore it. Don't let it bother you.

I hope that never happens. Go back to PCs if you like that kind of stuff. :p They're the computer equivalent of "spinners" on cars.
 
There are so many music videos showing Powerbooks/MBPs these days. It's like another music instrument already.

The Battles vid for "Atlas" - they covered the logos with tape. I think somebody complained about "free advertising" the Apple brand. Well, are they going to cover logos from Korg, Roland, Fender, etc?

Seriously, there are many Apple haters out there that make no sense at all. It is just the hype.

Personally, I like my lit logo. :apple:
 
I think it's absolutely beautiful. I also want everyone to know I've got an Apple notebook, because I love them that much. It's part of the design, and it's much better looking than any branding on a PC (duh). I really like it, and it lights up, which just adds to the coolness factor.

About the logo, you can't see it anyway most of the time since it is on the other side of the screen. Perhaps it is a bit pretentious but it does look pretty cool when playing a gig.
 
I don't mind it at all, it's a gorgeous logo. IMO, It adds a lot of appeal to the notebooks, and when I do DJ I make sure nothing's blocking the back of my MBP so the people on the floor can see it >;] Apple is one of the only companies I don't mind giving free advertisement. I can't count the amount of times people have come up to me and admired the design of the MBP. It's usually about the backlight keyboard and the lit :apple:.
 
I simply love to look at the glowing Apple logo!

When my wife works on the PB in the bedroom with all the lights off, I'm always right in front of her oogling at the glowing Apple!

My wife surely knows what turns me on....:p
 
im leaning towards the apple stickers it came with...

thinking about putting 3 stickers on.. hope light doesn't permit..



only reason i find it annoying is when i see people use it on tv.. they always have the front logo covered for copyright...

it annoys the "kid" inside me
