I do the same thing, but mostly when I'm in an awkward position.
I think you need to put the iPhone down, when you're doing one of those positions.
Maybe it's just out of habit by now, but I've owned an iPhone since they first came out...and I use to just check my email, check for an sms badge because I might have accidentally closed out the preview on the lock screen earlier and just forgot, or a voicemail and call under the same circumstances...and anything else worth checking my iPhone for.
But where I'm going with this is now I find myself just randomly unlocking my iPhone just for the sake of unlocking it only to lock it back again. At the same time, I may just flip through the different pages of apps I have for no intended reason only to once again lock it. Maybe it helps take my mind off of the walk to my car or the long wait in line at the grocery store.
Anyways, has anyone else caught themselves doing this before or am I in a league of my own?
When I'm watching a steamy porn video and my wife walks by, I always lock it.![]()
Dude why watch it when you have a woman there all for yourself? Sigh.
Wow, I went to sleep for a few hours and came back to see this thread have more response than I thought. And to the TheSpaz, you know you're gonna miss things like this once you quit your iPhone..
That comment about checking the fridge over and over is a very good comparison. I never thought of it like that...but, I do that as well too, lol.
