The last iPhone I had was the 4S, and since, I've been using the Note 2, 3 and currently the 4. I'm not overly excited about any specific new features announced yesterday, though I am excited about the overall capabilities of iOS compared to a few years ago since I last used the 4S, and the strong integration with OSX. Any one else thinking of switching over?

No, it doesn't run android. 3d touch looks nice though, I hope it come over to android. I can see that being confusing to some users though

Yep I'll be getting one, but won't be giving up on Android - it'll just be my only iOS phone ill buy this year amongst the myriad of android handsets i will purchase.

I am considering it, but will see what reviews say first. If the camera is amazing, I may do it.

Simple reasons: everyone I know is on iOS still. I'm pretty much the only Android guy out of 95% of my family/friends. FaceTime would be great to have back. 3D Touch looks cool.

But it has to be worth it. I really like a lot about Android, and would be perfectly happy to stay.

I'm to young for a iPhone maybe in my 60s.

I plan on getting the 6S+. I'm currently using a 6 and I've been more pleased with it than I expected. All I really need is a bigger screen and more memory. I now know 16gb isn't enough.

I just sold my iPhone 6 and I got my money ready for a 64gb 6s+. Rose gold here I come, just in case the wife decides to use it.:p

I'll be getting 6s Plus 64GB. I am going to try the IPhone Upgrade Program. I always get one every year anyway. I like getting one unlocked and carrier free.

disappointed... no ois in 6s :/ mixed feelings. rather than having 3dTouch i would have appreciated ois. now im more like "why?".. i just cant believe that there is no ois in 6s, with this amount of money and ... hey cmon, nowadays a phone without ois!? ... why? what happened? ... well, maybe they had to saved something amazing new feature for the next model...

I didn't notice much difference on the last editions. A slight bit of noise in darker scenes but that was it. Camera shake was never an issue.

I'm not impressed at all with 3D Touch. I guess it's something I have to try out first to see if it's any differ than long press.

I'm considering it also and I'm an Android guy. If my boss is willing to pay for it and the plan I will get it for work. TMO is still crappy at where I work and even with Band 12, I'm still getting high Cell Standby even with the new fix. Plus, I hate having to turn off wifi calling and LTE voice when I shouldn't need to.

I'm hoping my boss will agree to paying for the Apple Upgrade program, if not, I might pay for it myself as long as they are willing to pay for the plan since I'll be using it for work purpose. Sucks I'm going to have to carry two phones but its worth it.

My biggest problem will be getting him to agree since I turned down a work crappy iP4s when I first got hired. New guys always gets the crappy hand me downs, lol. At least I have about two weeks + to decide what to say. At least, I can use the bad signal card and a lot of the users I support uses Macs with iPhones.

I have reservations too. I am not sure if it will be a great and useful thing or just add a degree of difficulty. I am getting the 6s Plus so I will find out.

It'll go either two ways I suppose ...

1. We will end up not bothering using it in most scenarios...

Or

2. We will find ourselves using it naturally within short period and we will want it on all our devices going forward.

If anything it's pepped my interest, but certainly isn't a factor in my purchase decision at the moment, but has the possibility of being one of those things that if successful will adjust our purchase decisions not just iOS but on Android in the future.

I watched MKBHD's review on the 6S, and the 3D touch doesn't look bad at all. I'm just wondering how necessary and/or better it is compared to traditional long press. I will defiantly be in stores playing around with display models.

Pre-order is going down here at 3:01am.

Just to be sure, you are aware it's 3 AM Saturday morning, right? In the past it's been first thing Friday morning but they switched it up just a bit this year.

Would hate to see you wake up extra early (or stay up really late ;)) on the wrong day.
