Just to be sure, you are aware it's 3 AM Saturday morning, right? In the past it's been first thing Friday morning but they switched it up just a bit this year.

Would hate to see you wake up extra early (or stay up really late ;)) on the wrong day.

O yeah I know trust me lol. I always am order to place my preorder the first minute and go right back to sleep. So drinking will be at a minimum tomorrow night! hahaa.

As long as people buy the phone, the prices will stay high. Its just how it is. This is most likely the first iPhone I won't purchase since my first iPhone (4s).

MRU: That is a lot of money for a phone.

pricing is one of the reasons I will probably stick with android phone (I like android too, its not all price), ios tablet

there have been some great sales on ipads (in usa from third party retailers at least), it is REALLY hard to get a deal on an iphone

I have reservations too. I am not sure if it will be a great and useful thing or just add a degree of difficulty. I am getting the 6s Plus so I will find out.

I'm getting the 64gb 6S but do have concerns as well.

From what was shown the Galaxy S6 still seems like the better device, and is a better value at this stage.

The iphone 6 battery life was weak and now there is a even more powerful chipset, taptic engines and pressure sensors to power with a smaller battery. Now add 24/7 Bluetooth with Apple watch.

No quick charge.
No wireless charging.
No voice controlled camera or quick launching of the camera either.

And stability is a big issue. My S6 is rock solid on stability, but iOS 8 is quite buggy..

Yeah I thought the S6 Edge which was €949 when I got it pushed the envelope too high, but €969!! Cripes. Thankfully looking at resale price my existing 6 Plus is worth around €550-600 but that's still a €400 upgrade .. I know I'll get it, but yeah this is pushing me to the edge of my acceptance levels. When you consider the Moto X Style / Pure 2015 32gb is €499 ... Nearly half the price.

I'll be getting be 6S plus. I was leaning towards it anyway despite being impressed by the edge plus. However after the keynote I'm set on the 6S plus.

Many fair points. I will say that I've been running iOS 9 on my 6+ for well over a month and battery performance is noticeably better vs. iOS 8. Also, been rocking an Apple Watch since May and I never noticed a decrease in performance, at least nothing I could perceive.

Also, I know it's not exactly the same but there is a form of quick charging if you use the 12W iPad charger--not the super blazing performance you see on the latest Samsung devices but my 6+ will fully charge in approximately 2 hours, give or take.

I'd certainly welcome a camera quick launch feature/gesture and would love wireless charging as well.

Interesting that you said the S6 and Android is more stable than iOS at the moment. One of my main reasons to (potentially) switch back to an iPhone is stability, after an overall frustrating experience with the HTC One M7. I'm still willing to give Android another try though, and the S6 is much cheaper than the 6S at this point.

Yep me

Love what they have added as I do like my photos and 4K recording helps which is why i'm getting 128GB model to match my air 2.

Love the fact i will be syncing between my ipad, macbook pro and my phone. Like the idea of the 3D touch and will be useful for me I reckon.

I miss the large phone badly..so the 6S plus is for me

3D touch looks like an impressive technology but is it really useful? It looks to me like iOS isn't designed for it.

When they released the original iPhone, it was built for multitouch. 3D has been slapped on top of iOS and doesn't really give the iPhone any functional advantage.

I agree to a point, but all the tech websites seem to like it.

I think it's neat but goes against what we are used to doing. People will have to relearn.

Personally, like I said I think it's neat, but I can and do already have similar functionality on my note 5 via action launcher 3.

I think we won't really be able to tell if 3D Touch is a hit or not until we get our hands on the phone. It looks pretty good from the videos I've seen, but I won't know for sure until I use it for a while.
