Hard to believe that Apple is putting out new IPhones with only a new camera and updated internals.

What’s hard to believe? You’re relying on rumors versus actually waiting for the keynote to see what the iPhone will Include additionally (You also didn’t include reverse charging either). However, Apple/Tim Cook have been driving for years to control internal leaks, the tolerances have become tighter every year, so that’s a factor as well.

In any case don’t expect to much and you won’t be disappointed

Lol I mean what do you want them to add? Honestly the phones have pretty much gotten to a standstill with features added. I think a better camera is awesome and they need to work on battery life instead of adding useless features.

You must be new here.

-iPhone 3GS
-iPhone 4S
-iPhone 5S
-iPhone 6S
-iPhone 7 (iPhone 6SS)
-iPhone 8 (iPhone 6SSS)
-iPhone XR (iPhone 6SSSS)
-iPhone XS

Going to pass on the XSS

Maybe 2020 will be good given that 5G should be on a damn iphone by then.

Out of curiosity, why do you list the XS as a revision of the X but relegate the XR to being a revision of the iPhone 6?

If you look at it closely, the iPhone XR is an 8 Plus with Face ID (still LCD, and lacking the portrait camera, and it is built like an iPhone 8, in aluminum)

For the first time in my Apple life I will be skipping the 11. I was jail broken and decided to upgrade to 12.4 on my max xs and with a new Jb coming I am going to skip the 11. With that said, another reason is to keep this another year so I can get out if t mobile when the phone is paid off. I will then switch back to Verizon and get in the Apple upgrade program. This is 8-27 I am typing this. This all can change down the road haha.

On a 6s and been wanting a new phone almost every year but the prices are outrageous

True... prices today are much higher than they used to be.

But think of the money you saved by not buying the iPhone 7... 8/X... and XS/XR series!

Surely that'll enable you to get a new phone in this cycle.

I'm like you... I still have an iPhone 6S Plus... I skipped three entire iPhone cycles.

But I'm ready to upgrade this year. And I'll probably keep it for a while like I did with my current phone.

If I used an iPhone 6S Plus from 2015 to 2019... I can definitely use an iPhone 11 from 2019 to 2023... :p

That is my plan for next year. To switch to Verizon from T-Mobile with an unlocked iPhone. I also want to test Verizon’s network in my area and an also hoping Qualcomm is back in iPhones next year.

So disappointed in the battery life on my 8 plus am waiting until they bring out an iPhone with dramatically better battery , maybe bigger ?

I will likely upgrade from my X, and pass that along to my one kid who is still rocking a 7. That way he gets an upgrade without any additional cost (plus it has some AppleCare+ warranty left) and it’s had a case on it since day one so it’s in great physical shape.

If the 11 doesn’t seem like a big enough jump, I’m ok skipping the upgrade. I really don’t find myself thinking the X is not serving my needs on a day to day basis. The only thing I’d like an improvement on is battery life, but even there I’ve never not made it through a day (even a long 12+ hour work day when traveling).
