Unfortunately, I'm still trying to find a 13 inch 2.13Ghz 4GB model locally or on a Web site that has them in stock but have had no luck doing so yet.
I picked up a maxed out MBA last night at my apple store: they had just gotten them in yesterday.

I did. I sold my iPad 64GB wifi+3g. It was nice, it did the job, but I was also frustrated with the things I couldn't do with it. I have wanted an Air since they first came out. I bought the base model 11.6, although I am wondering if I will regret not having the extra storage. I don't plan on using it as a main computer, I have an iMac for that. I'm trying to just love it, which I do. I just feel maybe I should have gotten more storage space.
That was QUICK, less than a day on Craigslist and I sold my 64GB WiFi + 3G. Gotta love Apple resale value. My 13in Air ultimate comes on Tuesday. I loved my iPad but it got frustrating at times and now I need to do light design work and it just wasn't capable.
Pretty much decided to replace the iPad with a Galaxy Tab. Smaller form factor will pair well with the Air and I'll use it primarily as a PDF viewer/eReader (glad I've been buying most of my books from the Kindle store) and for light web browsing around the house. On the road I can use the built in WiFi tethering to get my Air connected! I don't have much experience with Android but from the previews I've seen I think it will fit the bill.
If you feel this way already....
I have a basic 16GB non WiFi iPad and virtually stopped using it since I got a 13 inch MBA. The new MBA has reinforced why there are so many things about the iPad I don't like.Sold my 16GB WiFi over the weekend for $470 just gotta sell my Dodocase now.
I would sell my iPad to get iPad 2 or iPad 3. iPad will not replace my laptop and Laptop won't replace my iPad.

Despite my own tepid reaction to the iPad's performance, I know where you are coming from. My daughter uses her iPad mostly as an ebook reader and she loves it, loves it, loves it. I think that my frustration with the iPad arose from my common practice of posting to special interest forums such as MacRumors. The combination of the iPad's brutal email client and virtual keyboard for data input meant that it was just about unusable to me for posting purposes. In stark contrast the MBA is perfect for the purpose.+1. My ipad remains the king for content consumption, my 13" macbook air replaces my 17" macbook pro though for carrying around and content creation. I just enjoy holding the iPad and flicking through pages / etc ... for reading (books, web pages). I don't see me giving up one for the other.
It is impossible to take notes on the iPad in college and although being able to create diagrams is neat it is too difficult to type on. Just gotta decide between the 11 and 13 MBA.
