iCloud Who still has a @mac.com?

I had two @Mac.com Apple IDs. One I had to merge with @me.com as it wasn't "paid" when Apple stopped issueing @Mac.com address. I do have the other one with mail function still active. I still think that @mac.com sounds much better than me.com or iCloud.com.

Just a nightmare with the new iPad Pro where it kicked me out the App Store for a week as I have two Apple IDs. I assume they’ll never fix this now.
