Arriving in a few days, it will complete my Omega Trifecta.

In the mid-1990s, Swiss company CRIVAL SA (based in Basel) obtained a license from LEGO to design and manufacture a modular wristwatch made entirely from LEGO-style colored polycarbonate. The concept — a fully rebuildable watch that you can customize like a mini LEGO set — was launched in 1996 under the name LEGO Watch System and was produced for just a few years, until LEGO transferred the license to ClicTime Ltd in the early 2000s.

Is there such a thing as a moving/vibtrating stand you can put an automatic watch onto so it keeps time when not in use….?
I sometimes don’t wear mine for a few days, and then I need to reset the time.

If not, this could be a money maker…. 🤔

Lots of options; I bought one of the more affordable ones. It is starting to make more noise when rotating. Still does the job but I may check if I can exchange.

I've picked up my second beautiful timepiece this year. Incredible watch with the date complication I missed so much when wearing the Tudor Black Bay 41 Monochrome (which I still have).

I love the comfort in the spring/summer of the rubber strap. However, I did pick up the OEM Milanese Loop too, waiting for delivery at the AD.

Managed to snag a fantastic deal in the UK too. 10% off RRP, £100 off the Milanese too! (Beaverbrookes and Chisholm Hunter offered similar)

Really happy with my two watch collection. Looking at a simple, dress watch next, possibly Tissot Le Locke on leather, but who knows.

Not traditional and now consigned to horological history - Seiko's 5D22-0AC0 Direct Drive Kinetic from 2009.

The Kinetic movements were an ambitious reach to the future before Solar was a viable option. Early models suffered from an unacceptable failure rate. Seiko doubled down and resolved the issues over time, with the Kinetics ultimately being reliable & robust watches. Problem being Solar power was equally advancing and exceeded Kinetic in many aspects at a lower price.

Those interested in Kinetic would be wise to do some homework. Movements vary with levels of complexity for the capacitor/battery change/service.

Officially gone a whole year without getting a new watch. Still waiting for the call for Rolex Panda Daytona 😔. Considering getting my wife a low profile Patek Phillips for our 10 year anniversary.
