Me again, does anyone here own a Seiko SRPD55?
I've watched a few videos on this particular model, and I now think Id' like to purchase one. Hence, curious...
I own the SRPD59K1, the one with the orange dial which is the same watch but different colour and it's a decent watch for the price. A bit on the heavy side for me buts that just a personal opinion.

Thanks. I must say, that model seems rather easy to tell the time! From my research, I have learned that I am not a fan of the 'dark' interior, where it seems harder to tell the time...

Yeah, elegant timepieces really have little say when our ego needs the next badge or rings achievement. ;)

It's really a tough pick, I have enjoyed wearing it out for a meal tonight, but when I got home immediately put my AWU back on for the health tracking! After 5+ years of Apple Watches, it's strange not having my wrist vibrate when I get a notification.

That being said, I have lots of nice things to look forward to this year to start making memories with my new piece.

Just wear both 😝

Speedy on my left wrist
AW S10 on my right wrist

I just can't double wrist it unfortunately. I've been looking at Oura rings and the Whoop 4.0 too, but going to stick with my AWU and just learn to balance them better. Love the Speedy too btw. I was super unsure whether to get the SMP300 polar on rubber strap over the Tudor, but ultimately the 5 link "jubilee" won over. I really do love the SMP300 dial though, mesmerising!

Another wrist shot:
(edit: no clue how to rotate it, sorry)

This is my first luxury timepiece, I typically wear an Apple Watch Ultra. Finding it very difficult to balance closing my rings and wearing this!
I ended up dropping the AW when I got my Speedy during the pandemic. Don’t think there’s any way I’d go back now - I definitely am a mechanical watch guy now (four watches and counting - I have a problem 🤣). Miss the health aspects (and occasionally Apple Pay), but always get a little smile when I glance down at my wrist.

Similar story here, I won’t look back on the Apple Watch days personally. I’ve felt a lot healthier not having another notification screen on me.

What else do you have? I’d love a seamaster, white dial and nato strap. Really like some of the breitling offerings and also, Rolex GMT black and grey dial!

The white dial Seamaster is amazing - when I bought my Speedy I almost came home with that instead, and I walked into the shop to buy the Speedy. Haven’t seen the black/grey GMT in person, but that’s likely the one I’d go for.

“Family photo” is below. My other watches are a Timex Waterbury, a Swatch automatic, and a Submariner Date. I also have a GShock I wear when I’m sleeping and doing things like yard work or cleaning gutters.

Sub gets most of the wear given its newest (and nicest). Speedmaster is now on a leather strap and I’ve been wearing it when I have in-person client meetings. Timex is my “beater” - things like running around the park with the kid, hiking, etc. Swatch is a fun summer watch - white face with neon hands.

Next watch will be a dress watch; I have my eye on a JLC Reverso / Master Ultra-Thin or a Grand Seiko Omiwatari. (Definitely something without a black dial). But it will be a while - my wife has made that abundantly clear. 🤣

Grail watch is a Lange 1 Moonphase; I doubt it’ll ever happen, but I can dream!

Fantastic collection! Yes the old wife problem. It did take a lot of convincing for my wife as well for my to pick mine up.

Still wearing the gold Tissot PRX automatic, gold ain’t for everyone but I really like it lol. Been on the hunt for a diver since selling every other watch in my collection (Seiko’s and a Tudor BB58) but dunno what to go for.

Great watch! I tried on the GS Omiwatari a few months ago and if my wife hadn’t been there I might have walked out with it.
That’s one of the watches I was looking at, but I thought it might be too dressy with the band. It’s a really nice watch though!

That Omega Speedmaster is simply gorgeous.

Nice collection and well wear.
