i have a quick question...i searched the forums but didnt find anything.
i am going to be purchasing the new macbook soon and was just wondering...if you have the macbook on your lap for about say an hour...running basic stuff...like safari and iChat does it get too uncomfortable for it to stay on your lap, does the temp get too hot or no? thanks if you could answer!
Why wait when you can enjoy one now?
Well the new blackbook is running into some problems. Started couple of days ago when the wireless just shut off while I was running torrents via transmission. When I try to disable then enable airport it still doesn't connect. The only way it reconnects is after I put it to sleep and then bring it back, or a restart. Also when I take out the power plug put it tells me that the battery life is only 1:40 when it's fully charged. AND the computer runs red hot... and the fan just runs all the time now... **** I don't know what I did. Do you have to calibrate this battery? I didn't read anything in the manual about it. I've been installing lots of programs and leaving the laptop on while I'm at work...
Has anyone had these problems with the new macbooks?
this is probably a little late, but i got my first mac last week!![]()
If you want to do any kind of gaming on the Windows side, you'll want a MBP. Everything else a MB is fine for. You have to buy 2x1GB as there is 2x512MB in there. Installing is easy, took me probably 5 minutes to do. Just need 1 Phillips '0' screwdriver. The instructions are printed underneath your batteryI'm going to buy the old MacBook or MacBook Pro, depending on how much discount the old MBPs will get after introducing a new model, which should happen pretty soon, shouldn't it?
Anyway, I'm still wondering, should I buy additinoal gigabyte or RAMs or not? How is it trying to put some extra RAMs yourself? Are they 1x1024 or 2x512?
Congratulations, how you liking it ?
