I am happy with my iPad Pro 11 2018 model and there is really no need to upgrade to the 2020 model. I am still waiting Magic Keyboard accessory to come out so I can use it as an ultra portable productivity machine when I don’t need the full power of my Macbook Pro. Also, my Logitech Slim Folio Pro keyboard is flaking out and I want something more reliable, perhaps with a touchpad too.

I did purchase a 2020 11”, I really was going to hold out for the rumored iPad coming
later this year, but my wife who has been using the 9.7 pro has been having some issues, she now has my old 10.5 pro. The 9.7 may be able to be passed to parents or someone in the family that will use it lightly and not be effected by the extremely short battery life that it now gets.
