You "didn't notice Jelly Scroll" ....
...and that is somehow "enhancing your use of (the iPad) further?"

Can you please elaborate on what you mean there?
What I mean is the Jelly Scroll problem, that seems to be affecting many users, has had a detrimental effect on their iPad mini use. However, I personally have not noticed this widely reported issue at all. Because of this, my use of the mini has been enhanced as I was seriously expecting it to be present for me which would have caused me to have a slightly tainted experience with the mini. As the (expected) issue has not been a problem for me my enjoyment of the mini has been enhanced further.

Hope this helps ?

You can't not see the jelly scroll (unless you only use it in landscape). You're just choosing to ignore that it exists to justify your $500+ purchase.
Not everybody notices these things, just as some don't notice or care about flickering and color uniformity issues (which to me is way more important than jelly scrolling), heck some people don't even notice dead pixels. Jelly scroll is factually there, nobody is denying it. Through this I recently discovered my Pro 11's jelly scroll which I've had for soon-to-be 4 years, so it definitely can go unnoticed. Apple certainly cheaped out on the mini display.

That being said, I acknowledge it's there and also acknowledge there is no other tablet that can replace how perfect the mini's form factor is (for my use). For me to notice it I have to fixate on the way text shifts when rapidly scrolling, which is not a dealbreaker for me, but it may be to you.

Or...maybe that is your excuse for justifying NOT buying it.

See, that works both ways.
I owned one for a week and I couldn't deal with the jelly scroll when browsing the web. But I've also gotten used to OLED and higher refresh rate displays so that could also have played a role in why it stood out even more to me than the average user.

I see the jelly scroll and i am not bothered by it.
I am using the device on the couch and on the go.
Other ipads are to big and heavy for my use case.

The future is looking good for the ipad mini.
We just need some software updates.
Looking forward for the next interations.

That means they are all no good except the pro's then.
No something actually is off with the mini display, it’s weird but it’s not a huge deal for most people nor will most people notice it. I tend to obsessively fixate on displays and notice things that don’t really matter. It has less contrast and stutters more than the Air’s display as well as previous iPads and 60hz iPhones.

Regardless I love my mini 6, and nothing can replace it

It’s interesting reading those keeping the new iPad Mini. I’m still considering one for my birthday to replace my old 9.7” iPad Pro that’s tired. The idea of getting an Apple Pencil 2 for it and starting out in drawing and animation is very tempting.

The mini 5 was no different, pink tinge and grey blacks.

I love my mini 6. I went from a mini 4 to 5 to an Air 4. I loved the size of the mini so traded my Air 4 in for a 6 when it was released. Not disappointed so far.

I tried to love it, but in the end my eyesight just couldn’t handle the screen size…decided to run to the other end of the spectrum and splurge on a 12.9 I’m M1 iPad pro

The screen on the mini 6 is so inferior too. Felt like I was using a $200 device from 2010 when I had it because the mini 6 screen quality was on par with my monitors from that year.

Compared to what examples? What can you possibly have used in 2010 that was equivalent to a 8.3" 2266-by-1488 resolution at 326 pixels per inch display? The iPhone 4 had only a 960-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi back in 2010.

I find the Mini 6 display to be perfectly fine for a portable device of its size. As good as my 2021 12.9? No - but I don't expect it to be and find it's great for my purposes as a complementary on-the-go tablet.
