Steal:
1 a : to take or appropriate without right or leave and with intent to keep or make use of wrongfully <stole a car> b : to take away by force or unjust means <they've stolen our liberty> c : to take surreptitiously or without permission <steal a kiss> d : to appropriate to oneself or beyond one's proper share : make oneself the focus of <steal the show>

Not sure which definition of "steal" you don't get...

Its not stealing......Its just copying something from point A to point B. If the original user or system still has it after you have took it then you have stole nothing from them you have merely made a 'copy' of it.

Have you never transferred a file over IM to a friend?

 Classic.

Or a refund policy within 24 hours of purchase, like Google Market... :p

This would 100% help! In almost every business (with the exception of consumables) there is some system in place that allows consumers to try a product before committing to giving up their money. Honestly though, I do believe that torrenting apps is the same as torrenting movies or music...however, as long as there is a system in place to do it, it's going to be done. It's just how it is.

Does someone know how to set a 3rd party browser as default?

In cydia search for Browser Changer. Install it and it will allow you to select what 3rd party browser you want as default.

I always thought that people jailbroke their devices so that they could steal apps

i mean, it has jail in the name.

Piracy is piracy. It's not stealing. You can argue that it inhibits developments because it removes incentives for development, but it's not 'stealing'.

Taking something against the owner's permission = stealing.

We do. And the vast majority of jailbreakers steal apps, because that's one of the main purposes. But people will you please stop arguing about piracy and stealing? Doesn't matter what you call it. We people who do that will continue to do it and will not have our minds changed, and the people who don't do it should pat themselves on the back if it makes them feel better about themselves. end of story
