But Air 5's are a long ways off. Certainly after the introduction of the new 12.9 iPad Pros in March.

Yeah I think so, the fact even the iPad mini is rumoured to get mini led is but no sign of 11 pro.

If an Air 5 is being released before a new 11” Pro model then I guess we have Apple’s answer.

Air 5 won’t be released for another year at the very least, and Apple will want to have a product priced in between the Air 4/5 and largest iPad Pro. Maybe an 11.5 Pro?
