slightly off topic, but somewhat related.

at first, I thought it would be cool to read my kids a book via the ipad since you can do so much more with interactive and multimedia (they're 2 & 4), but there's something about having them hold a board book in their hands and turn the pages that is special. (also, i was talking with a friend of mine about how some libraries have ebooks available for check out and he felt that the library experience was something that he enjoys with his kids). now i'm not saying that i would never read my kids books on the ipad, I just wouldn't want it to replace physical books - at least at this young age.
