Hey, tsialex... I got a question for ya... You are very knowledgeable if I get the wifi card that you recommended, do I have to change the Bluetooth? or the card comes with both. I am a newbie.

Thank you sir for all your help!

What Mac Pro you have and what card model you are looking?

BCM94322MC is Wi-Fi only.

Sorry, I have the 2009 5,1. I got 48 RAM, Sapphire pulse RX 580, SSD 1 TB. I saw the wifi I have is the Atheros 9280. I saw you were recommending "BCM94322MC" but I am running my keyboard and mouse by bluetooth.

BCM94322MC it's a drop-in card in place of the original AirPort Extreme, you won't change the Mac Pro BT card at all.

Not supported with Catalina.

Perfect! I will order it today! Man thank you so much!
I just have to upgrade to Mojave so I can use Thunderbolt titan ridge card( I changed the firmware with homebrew). I heard some people used High Sierra ( I am not sure)... that's why I am updating to Mojave. I was running Yosemite with Pro Tools but I want to connect my apollo twin/Apollo 8 only work with thunderbolt.

Looking for some help on Wifi/BlueTooth issues...

MacPro 3.1 Mojave via Dosdude

Recently replaced the Wifi/Bluetooth cards with new card from OSX wifi (after reading this thread sounds like I overpaid).

BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter
pci14e4,43a0

I attached all 3 wifi cables along w/bluetooth cable, removed the old bluetooth chip.

Bluetooth works, WiFi works, AirDrop kinda works (not always consistent or visible from iPhone), unlock w/Apple Watch does not work (continues to try, then times out).

Is there any way to get handoff, allow Apple Watch to unlock Mac, and more consistent Airdrop to work?

Is the WiFi Card not the correct one? Is the MacPro 3.1 the issue or because of Mojave?
