TheSpaz - you are young and this is where it shows the most. You're more concerned with being right than anything else.

Here is something very wise a college professor once told me (and his class)

You can NEVER prove anything. All you can do is present evidence and base a conclusion or hypothesis about the given data.

Your conclusions (which YOU deem as facts) are YOUR experience. That does not make it fact nor the rule. It's not debatable, TheSpaz.

The best you can say is "It's been my experience that my 3G is slower on 3.0 than it was on 2.2.1"

and if someone posts a contrary argument - you can try and determine the differences - but you'll never nail it down 100 percent. You'll only be able to theorize. And that's fine. But theories are not facts.

There are many variables and reasons why one device can or does operate differently than another. Machines are NOT infallible. Software is NOT infallible.

I know what I'm talking about... you can't stand it when I'm right, so you make up posts like that.

Oh, and I didn't realize that there were 3G iPhones out there with different clock speeds and special builds of 3.0.1 software. How do I go about getting some of these special iPhones?

Let me rewrite your post for you.

I understand what you're saying. My experience has been different. My 3GS never performed like my 3G and I've spent time with a few of each models to come up with my conclusion.

If you look here (link) you'll see an animation I've made of my experience.

You don't need to re-write my posts. I'll post how I want, thanks.

As I stated quite clearly in a previous post but more subtly. Your ARROGANCE is what is offputting. This isn't about who's right or wrong? Who cares? You have one experience - someone else has another.

YOU clearly want to be right. Since anyone that says anything differently than you is "wrong"

Not just "anything"...

It just really bothers me when someone claims that their iPhone 3G runs as smooth as an iPhone 3GS.

What do I have to do? Record a video with a high speed camera to capture the difference between an iPhone 3G and 3GS? Geeze. You just don't get it.

I get it. Stop fixating on the 3gs vs the 3g. I was making a statement about your posts in general. Whenever someone comments their experience is different with 3.0, 3.01, 2.2.1 than you - you basically call them a liar. We've all seen it. You don't have to prove anything to me.

I'm reminded of a great quote which applies...

“For one to expect or ask things of others that he himself, if asked, would not be willing to do or give, is the worst kind of arrogance.” - Anthony Beal

Is it something that we did?
We tried to be good and eat all of our veggies, but daddy still hits us and mommy hits the sauce hard. :(

That's mommy juice - and NEVER TOUCH IT! Mommy needs it to keep daddy happy. It's only for Mommy and Daddys - and Mommy's special friends that comes over when daddy's out of town.

And when dad comes home after work and wants to close his eyes on the couch and have JUST ONE SINGLE GODDAMN MOMENT of peace and quiet, give it to him.

Daddy is always talking about his special friend Cindy from accounting. Something about "giving it to her good." Is she getting a raise? I bet thats what he means. Right Uncy Cello?
