Wait until the iPhone comes out. There are a lot of rumors on price drops, so you may not have to sell everything to get one![]()
Also, if it matters to anybody I'm also selling my 5g iPod for $250 with extras to raise money for this.
Maybe you can post here to sell it quicker![]()
Okay, heres the deal. I'm on a family plan with my parents and older brother with Verizon. I NEED the iPhone when it comes out.
Why do you 'NEED' an iPhone?
According to your profile you have a Dell.....maybe you 'NEED' to try getting a mac first![]()

I'd like to know why you need the iPhone this bad. To impress your friends? Of course everyone wants the iPhone but do they really need it? Nope. Many other phones can do the same task.

Him: I NEED an iPhone.
Me: Why?
Him: Because its an iPhone.
Me: Are you a fan of circular logic?
Your plan won't work. What phones are you selling that will get $175 each on eBay? Those better be extremely nice phones. Don't forget that other people will be upgrading and selling their old phones too.
Is the iPhone really worth $525 cancellation fee, the $500 MSRP, and the higher data rate plan, which is likely twice as much as a regular plan? I'm assuming the sale from your old phones roughly offsets the price of buying your mom and brother new phones. If you wait nine months, you save the $525 cancellation and the price of the phone itself drops.
Sorry, this just sounds like teenage delusion to me.
But now that I reconsider, why are you switching your family to Cingular also? Why not just switch your plan? You're paying for it yourself, right?
someone remind me when the iphone is due out...
