Will you buy another iPad?

I'm really tempted to by the current iPad, but I just ordered the iPhone 4. I could really fit an iPad into my daily routine. I'll be ordering the next iPad soon after it comes out.

Wish that were true - spent a bunch on apps so far. It's addicting.

It is true, I bought abouts 10 great apps on the day I got the iPad.... since then nothing new or exciting has existed for me in the app store... so havnt got anything new since...

As for the genious thing... thats nothing exciting either... I want new apps that take real advantage of the screen and I want some real clever and addicting game. At the moment Angry birds kept me entertained until i completed it, field runners and worms seem to be the ones keeping me entertained now... other than that my other favourite apps that arnt games are sketchbook pro, colour splash, air display.

Im a gamer and I do video game design at Uni, I guess what im trying to say is I want better games. (I would love to personally make one... I have a great idea for one that im building a game document on however its hard to get a hold of coders.... I do 3D modelling and texturing/animation not coding)

I'm guessing the 2nd gen will be more or less a minor upgrade and the 3rd gen will be the major upgrade. So I will probably wait until the 3rd gen which should only be about 20 months away.

Since I am typing this on my iPad and I haven't actually opened my laptop in 3 days, although I have logged into it remotely via LogMeIn and haven't missed it at all, YES.

Yep defiantly. Hopefully my iPad will last me 3 years so I'm looking to get either the 3rd or 4th revision of it.

Probably going for the 2nd gen. Like I do with my other Apple products around the house (already mentioned in this thread by others), I'll be selling my current products as soon as I replace it with a newer version.

Not because I have the cash every year for a revision, but I'll lose $100-$150 in resale value after that time. I look at it as a built in cost. In essence, I'll be paying $8-$12 a month to get the latest gen, a cost I (and most) are willing to pay.

Why do we need to ask this question to us? We just got our brand-new toy, and already talking about what to buy next? I don't think it's too late to think about whether to buy or not when the new one comes out. In the mean time, get your money's worth and enjoy playing with the toy. Or, the toy should be on its way to ebay/craiglist for those who can enjoy it.
