A bottle of white wine from Würzberg (Germany) - a gift from a German colleague who is also a friend.
The is a wine - that comes in a bottle with a very specific shape unique to the Franken region. The wine is called "Bürgerspital Würzburg - Würzburger Stein, Weisser Burgunder Trocken".

A bottle of Pinot Blanc from Alsace, consumed with pleasure with a colleague.
Some very good nero de avola with a top pizza campania - mozzarella di buffala, anchovies, pancetta and cherry tomatoes on a thin crust and some freshly made tomato sauce. Not too many toppings either.
A few half pints this evening, that coconut cocoa stout I mentioned some time ago, plus an Asian pear single IPA, and a Rye IPA. Tasty!
Sounds very tasty; a coconut cocoa stout sounds delicious, actually, it rather sounds like one that I'd love.
It doesn’t disappoint, and I learned that they have some barrel aged stouts in line for an early February release. It ought to be interesting!
A bottle of port materialised in my office yesterday: Nectar that goes by the name of Graham's 1972 Single Harvest Tawny Port - a seasonal treat.

Shame the brewery got bought out by AB-InBev, but nevertheless, if you want a 'special' beer for a very merry night this is one I highly recommend.

Sounds fascinating.
Some of the Belgian breweries make excellent beers, well worth exploring.
I headed out this morning and stocked up on Montalcino, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and one or two others that meet equally with my approval.
Enjoyed a bottle of Montalcino di Brunello with a few colleagues this evening; most congenial.
