In a coffee shop.
Paul Hobbs is pretty well known in the US. Most of his regular stuff is readily available. Some boutique and reserve stuff may be harder to find.

Sorry, a colloquialism, mea culpa: In the British Isles, when you ask "how did you find it" you mean what did you think of it.

Actually, I meant how did you like it - or whether - you liked it?

Otherwise, I would ask 'where did you find it?'

sorry, you originally posted how do you find it in the present tense. that confused me. my apologies. :) it's a good wine in that price range. nice balance and not overly tannic. kind of an easy drinker to pair with various dishes.

Was able to get my hands on and try a 2019 version of Wootstout on cask. Absolutely delicious! I wish I could of had a few more! But there were so many different versions. Tried them all with the exception of the blueberry or boysenberry one, only because I am not a fan of either.

Was also able to get it on tap and while not the same as on cask, it was still freaking outstanding! Picked up two bottles also! One for aging and one I will be enjoying shortly!

Enjoying a large bottle of Corona Familiar set in a bucket of ice. This is the most common Corona served in Mexico to locals and tourists alike. The clear bottle stuff is trash.

Precisely because the clear bottle stuff is - as you observe so correctly - "trash", I never drink Corona.

Are you telling me that there is a palatable version in existence?

Yes. Fairly heavy brown bottle. It's about 960 ml and I've only seen them in two stores off and on. I'd be surprised if they're exported anywhere else in North America or Europe for that matter. It's hard to describe what it tastes like, but it's what you would expect Corona to be like without the foul odor and taste because of UV degradation. It finishes crisp and nice, with just a minute hint of sweetness. It's what Extra should taste like, albeit it would still be a bit better. Once the beer degrades in the clear bottles, then all is lost. I think the worst offender of skunked/fouled beer is Newcastle Ale. Get it on draft if you must drink it.

Mexican beers aren't the best, but of the Modelo group the only mass produced onces I recommend are a brand called Pacifico and Modelo Negra. The latter of which has a malty sweet finish. If I had to compare the aftertaste, it's similar to a decent kwass. Bohemia, by another producer, is another good Mexican beer, however, I recommend the Oscura variety over others.
