That's wine, it's in a Corta bottle.

correct. it's actually a late harvest sauv blanc.

If it is a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc, and in a bottle with such a shape (and smaller size), I'd imagine that it is possibly a dessert wine, or a somewhat sweet wine.

Interesting. I like a good sauv blanc. I had a read through about the corta. Apparently it's gaining traction globally. It makes a lot of sense to me. Easier to ship and less likely to topple over in a store.

Fascinating.

Coteaux du Layon Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay AOC (2014). Chenin. 11.5%.

Bottle of Tempier Rose. Well aware it's still morning.

Have some nice beer being chilled. Several bottles of good cava. Hopefully the grill doesn't spit hot burning wood at me today should another tremor hit.

This one is a dessert wine, very sweet. I’m not a fan, bought it as a gift for someone. If I drink white, I generally prefer sauv blanc and typically a Sancerre.

Had this with a good steak the other night.
