After reading just the last two pages, I am almost ashamed to say that my fridge is full of Blue Moon and Mich Ultra. Last beer was a Blue Moon last night.

I must say that I have never heard of either beverage.

What are they like? How do they taste?
Blue Moon is a White Belgian style wheat ale brewed with valencia oranges.. Quite refreshing to me. They started out as a craft beer but became very popular and Coors bought them. Thankfully they didn't change the recipe.
Michelobe Ultra is a low carb beer so as you could probably imagine, it's a very lite flavored lager. But when you are counting carbs, every carb counts.

Thank you for your explanation, very informative.

Well, carbs don't bother me, indeed, they can offer much by way of flavour, so I doubt that Michelobe Ultra would attract me much, but I will admit that Blue Moon does sound pretty interesting.

Enjoy them.

If you are in the US, many bars have Blue Moon either on tap or individual servings if you want to try one without having to buy a 6 pack or more.

I’m back in France so it’s time for good wine! This is a Montrachet, one of my favorite Bourgogne. Look st the color!

Had an excellent set of beers this weekend.

Stone Brewery: Fear Movie LIons Double IPA - Outstanding
Liberation Brewery: Tony The Admiral Kellerbier - Not to shabby
Liberation Brewery: Autonomy Amber Red Ale on Nitro - Good
Liberation Brewery: Rancho Los Cerritos California Vienna Lager - Good
Dust Bowl Brewery: Hobo Pilsner - This was actually a very strong Pils, good
Imperial Western Brewery: Farmhouse Ale Saison - Didn't like this one at all, very earthy tasting. To much for my taste.
Transplants Brewery: Filbert Brown Ale - Outstanding
Trustworthy Brewery: What Plane Oatmeal Stout - Outstanding
Russian River Brewery: Pliny the Elder - Need I say anymore!

That sounds interesting. Where did you buy it at?

A local (but well stocked) off licence and deli.

They are an excellent British brewery; actually, my second beer tonight is Ramberget - a sort of India Pale Ale - from the same brewery.

If you know of a good off licence, ask them to consider stocking some of Buxton's beers - they really are very good.
