Had a great Imperial Stout, it was a collaboration beer and it is part of the small batch series between Stone and and Mikkeller Brewery.

It was outstanding!!! This was another beer where the flavor really came through as it started to warm up. Of course being as good as it was, I didn't take to long to consume the entire bottle lol!

Mikkeller Brewery have produced some outstanding beers, not just stouts, but also some stunning fruit beers.

For those who like IPA's, Russian River, for the first time, will be bottling Pliny The Younger this year!! I for one can't wait to try it in the bottle. I have had the privilege of having it on tap at my local brew house, so I can't wait to try it in the bottle!

Still my favorite from them is "Flying Pig IPA" which to me is the better of the three... Still happy news to hear they are finally bottling the last one of the three really good IPA's.

Great news, and thanks for the heads-up.

And now, I must see whether I can have a crate of this legendary nectar ordered on This Side of the Pond.

A Belgian cassis lambic beer. 3.5%.

Wow... that is a very low Lambic... Is this by Lindamans (SP?) or some other brewery? I have only had a few and the ones I did, were a just a "weebit" higher than 3.5%! That sounds like a very easy drinking version/style of the beer!

Had another can of Sticky Maple Bourbon Barrel aged Stout from The Bruery... Outstanding flavor and if you are into Founders CBS, this is a nice beer to fill the void. This one really shines through when it warms up a little. Do I dare say, I like it better than CBS...

Better than CBS?

That is high praise, indeed.

Sounds delicious.

Do enjoy.

Mikkeller produce some excellent Belgian style fruit beers, but they can be quite difficult to lay hands on.

Not a big fruit beer guy, but I am a huge fan of Mikkeller!!!!!! They have produced some stunningly good stouts and ales! I have been trying to get down to their San Diego tap room as they have some incredible beers from them on tap!!! I have had the pleasure of tasting some of their experimental beers as well as ones on tap at a few of the beer festivals! So far they have not disappointed!

Some of their beers are brilliant, agreed, but, in my corner of the world, can be difficult to lay hands on.

A Mikkeller tap room? Wonderful.

My cup of joy (as well as glass of beer) runneth over.
