Amazing! Really, really amazing. Soft, yet prickly, with pears and apples and toffee. Yum. Thank you.

I see. I usually empty mine in one, so no flavours can ever vaporise before I get them. I should probably work on that.
Well, I also have been know to consume the contents of an entire bottle at one lengthy sitting (as actually happened last night, when I was reading a brilliant book - "You Are The Fuhrer's Unrequited Love" by Jean-Noël Orengo, for hours and hours).

So, yes, some Chablis was consumed, sipped and savoured, last night.

A book and a beer; is there a better way to spend an evening in late summer?

The book was To Kill A Mockingbird (Harper Lee) - a timeless classic that I had never read until recently, and have now finished, and the beer was from Weihenstephaner, their Hefeweissbier Dunkel. Two classics.

Books are bad for your liver, it seems. Well, that's new.

I'll head to another craft beer bar in a few minutes, probably enjoying a Bock beer from the very good Munich Brew Mafia (at least it's on tap today). I try to drink more beers on Thursdays, you'll get a badge on Untappd for it (and I have less reason to drink on other days).

(Of course, I still do.)
