That's a great deal! You'll have to keep us posted when the phone arrives, I've, sadly, run into experiences with shady sellers who've sent me an iCloud locked/bad ESN device.

The price seems VERY suspect. Hopefully the OP doesn’t get screwed.

Seller has 0 feedback. I’d be real suspicious about that one.

so ture will i went you all no what happens on monday or sooner when i get the phone and if i need too file claim with ebay or if we have a winner

i sent too more ?s too the seller 1 ? is verify Activation Lock (iCloud) and the 2n ? was proof of payment or receipt

Hope you used PayPal for your payment.

I hope this isn’t the case, but it sounds like you’re going to be getting screwed.

Yep, 0 feedback on ebay and only being a member for 3 days are usually scammers. I've run into too many to count. When you get the box, fire up the video camera, and record you opening it up, and powering up the device so it's your backing they either didn't send you what you asked for, or a bad phone. Just in case.

the listing for those to see.

Cannot support this enough.

eBay has pretty decent BUYER protection.

When you get the phone obviously make sure it works and the serial is clean via Apple and identified as an iPhone X. Test every single function even if you’ll never use them (airplay, airdrop, portrait mode, slow mo, time lapse, FaceID, force touch, etc). Get an app like Lirum Info to verify it as being an X.

0 feedback is scary but it’s the reason you got that deal. As you can see from the post here most wouldn’t have bid on it. Plus it’s t-mobile which isn’t the most sought after.

But good deals aren’t impossible to come buy. I just sold a 1500 dollar exhaust system for 260 because I needed it gone in a hurry. I also bought a HomePod for 175 from someone that didn’t want to give it away but also didn’t need the money.

Almost worst case, as long as it’s an actual X and not clearly modified you can get an out of warranty replacement for $549. So you pay around full price.

Actual worse case it’s not an X and eBay can’t help you.

Good luck! Post back!

Edit: definitely record you opening the box it’s shipped in. If everything looks legit keep the recording going until you can get to settings > about. Do not let the phone leave the recording! In a worst case scenario this could save your ass!

This phone on swappa goes for $900-$1150 for this model and storage. $900 for mint and $1150 new. Why would the seller take a loss of nearly $700?! I’d even question a 256gb x for $799, and yours was half that? I’m shocked no one else got into a bidding war with you. I only hope the refund process goes smoothly for you.

This is true and it’s suspicious to say the least but circumstances could just make this a good deal. A divorce or death for example. I know a guy that bought a house (unknowingly) after a messy divorce for 80k less than what it could have sold for quickly, 100k with patience.

I do think there is a scam here in this case but the deed is done, might as well be optimistic.
