Have they fixed Airport Utility yet? Thats the one thing that will prevent me from upgrading when ML is released. I need APU to keep my iPad and iPhone connected to the internet while I'm on my trip. Otherwise I'll have to wait until I return home in a couple months.

Airport Utility works fine for me.

Dropbox breaks Finder integration, but there is a Test version they have up that fixes it.

Thunderbird has been getting progressively more bug laden with each update, making me wonder if they are focusing more on the Windows platform these days...If the touted improvements to Applemail are correct, then I'd be happy enough to switch back to it, if it has the features I need....I don't want to be forced into using Outlook.

OS X Mail is pretty good nowadays. May be time for you to take another look :)

iTeleport also works fine.

Looks like Apple did add some checks to be sure that protected video content is not capturable. Apparently iTeleport (client app from App Store), initializes a capture so if you are watching iTunes purchased video in iTunes or Quicktime, it becomes a gray and white grid while iTeleport is running (in real time so you can watch the video come and go as iTeleport is started and quit). Not really sure why iTeleport (not iTeleport Connect) is triggering this capture behavior. Probably will be fixed easily once Mountain Lion is released and more complaints come out.

All these people who are saying little snitch doesn't work, do you have a geniune copy and/or the most recent build, cause it listed as compatible with Mountain Lion

Macports installer for Mountain Lion came out today. Unfortunately, I'm still without ffmpeg. :(

Mufasas-Mac:bin root# ./port install ffmpeg-devel +x264 +libfaac +liblame +libogg +nonfree
---> Computing dependencies for ffmpeg-devel
Error: Dependency 'XviD' not found.
To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide:

So far the only 3rd party programs (non-MAS) that I've tried on ML has been Photoshop and Premiere Elements 10 Suite, Minecraft, Nocturne, and Screenflow.

Elements 10 Suite worked fine. I ran into a small hiccup with Premiere, the top grey bar with the Close, Minimize, Maximize buttons didn't appear. Starting a new project brought it back.

Minecraft, I didn't really play it, just started it up and entered my world, then left. It seemed to work fine, just needed to download Java again at 66MB.

I have Nocturne set to start upon start up, and it worked just fine.

Screenflow started up fine, I didn't record anything though.

I'll get to mess with more programs tomorrow.

My Parallels Desktop 7 Build 15054 works, but not perfectly.

The application will try to fight for window focus when I move my mouse outside of the VM window, making all the OS X apps flash like crazy.

Other than that, things are OK.

This is probably unique to me since may be the only DJ here, but Serato Itch makes my MBA 2011 shut down when opened. Just installed ML.

Parallels 6 doesn't work with Mountain Lion.

Parallels says upgrade to Parallels 7. $50 now and then $50 again to go to Parallels 8 next year when OS X breaks Parallels 7? No thank you. I expect software to be supported for more than a year and a half.

Off to either VirtualBox or VMWare (though I'm going to wait a bit since I don't have a current need for VM)

the software is supported for more than a year and a half... on the OSes they support, which was NOT 10.8. If you buy any software expecting it to work on some OS that doesn't even exist yet, your going to have problems, and thats your issue, not the software developers. If you change your machine, its not their problem your old software won't work, they never claimed it would run on 10.8.

You're certainly welcome to your opinion, but I disagree. I expect to be able to use a piece of software for at least two years or two major versions. What if I'd bought Parallels 6 in July 2011 instead of November 2010? Then I'd be SOL in twelve months.

What other software product, commercially available twelve months ago, no longer works upon upgrading to Mountain Lion *and* requires a paid upgrade? Parallels 7 came out ten months ago.

Poor customer service drives customers away.
