I’m running WoW on my M2 Pro Mac mini 12/19 cores, using the Apple Studio display with 5k resolution. All settings on Ultra except shadows and water (which are not that important anyways) with 50% scaling. Getting constant 60fps.
Hey mate, that is so awesome to hear, just quick question how much Ram do you have on this machine and of course what is the ssd in there.

Also can you post some videos and setting pictures and temperatures.

Thanks in advance.

Just for purposes of comparison, I have Dragonflight installed on both my M2 Max MBP (specs below) and a custom built gaming PC (Ryzen 9 5900x, 32GB DDR4, 3070Ti 8GB videocard). I actually pull higher framerates and higher resolutions on the Mac than I pull at 1080p on the PC. The best part is that unlike other Macs or gaming laptops I have owned in the past, the Mac doesn't really get hot, just a slight (aka enough to notice, not enough to worry about) warming of the 6, T, and Y keys.

Thank you very much sir, just one last question, how much ram you have left for use when multi tasking with wow opened?

You have been really helpfull
I have gone on a two week work trip so can’t update you on the memory usage however, if you considering between 16 or 32 Gb I would go for the 16 as the 1Tb SSD speed is SUPER fast so whenever it’s being used for swap memory it doesn’t affect performance at all in my experience

I love you for this post. I used to play WoW all the time. I recently had a Razer blade I really enjoyed. Windows is what my work uses so it’s tough to go to mac… but I always knew wow ran great on it so I was always interested

One thing I hear is the mmo mouse support can be tough. Does anyone use a mouse with multiple inputs on it similar to the Razer naga mouse?

Logitech G600 works well with Mac OS. suggest to also use G-Hub to configure it

What settings are you play on the MBP please ? Mine only allows 7/10 at native resolution.
