Worried about 24" monitor

Its not our imagination.

My friend brought a new 24" 2.4 and I noticed straight away that the left hand side is brighter "Light Bleeding" and that there is a yellowing in the centre bottom half.

I noticed this BEFORE reading the reports of this.
 
Brought my own 24" and sure enough

Bright white left side gradient to the right as dull darker yellow.

Swapped it for another... hmm same thing!

No where on the box did it say yellow gradient and nor do expect newer models to be worse than the last. Nor should I be forced to use an external monitor.

I envy those who have good LCD's and I really feel for those who have the freezing issues.
