Buy Legend of Dungeon, it's fantastic in many ways.

I even got killed by Dr.Who in it today, while I was wearing a cat on my head as a hat :D

Edit: Followed you on twitter as well.

Hi Guys!

Sorry it's been a bit quiet lately, It's been a crazy week but I'm hoping to get another 1-2 new videos up next week! :apple:

Shortly after uploading my video checking out The Darkness 2 I also uploaded a bit of Minecraft gameplay with a friend on a custom map that some of you may like!

Anyhoo, onto business! I'm going to be changing up the channel set up over the coming weeks in that, I wont only be doing quick gameplay videos showcasing performance in OS X but also I will start doing some "Let's Play" videos which you guys can all vote for. Obviously this will all still be OS X based games that we can all run natively :)

I'm keen to get a video up soon of Max Payne 3 and that will probably be followed by Counter Strike: GO and then perhaps Slender ;o

I've got a full list of my current games in the 1st post of this thread so if any of you have any requests then please let me know!

I've also just started up a twitter account which you can find a link to on my channel, I'm quite new to twitter but feel free to add/school me if you have accounts! :)

Thanks,

OS X Adam

I vote for Left 4 Dead 2 and Counter Strike:Global Offensive.

I vote for Left 4 Dead 2 and Counter Strike:Global Offensive.

Great choices and I'm glad someone has requested Counter Strike, its one of my favourite games! :)

Will aim to get one done this week! :)

Also - for anyone thats interested in DotA 2 but are experiencing performance issues, I've just uploaded a new video with some tips on how to fix them is OS X :apple:

Shadowrun has its entire story and dialogue done through text. It's an amazing game, but I think people will get bored if you're playing through that.

You'd have to constantly narrate everything, and read the story, conversations, choices and more.

Bastion is something I've been wanting to do for ages, I got the game last year, but I've barely touched it. The game also narrates itself in an amazing way. :D

Shambles!

Hey Guys!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support so far, it's been awesome and I'm glad you're liking the content so far!

There's a new video up showcasing... SHAMBLES!

SHAMBLES is a brand new game that's been released by Markus "Notch" Persson AKA Mr Minecraft! It was created for 7DFPS which is a game jam where creators are tasked with creating an FPS within 7 days!

The game itself is a free browser-based zombie / score attack FPS and for a game that was created in 7 days is pretty fun!

Definitely worth checking out if you've got a few minutes! :D :apple:

BioShock Infinite!

Hey Guys,

Hope you're all good and sorry it's been a while since my last post!

Just to let you all know that a new video is up featuring the eagerly anticipated BioShock Infinite!... Running in Mac OS X!!.... On High Settings!!!!....

I unfortunately never got to finish BioShock 1 & 2 but after the brief BioShock Infinite I've played I'm confident I'll be picking them up soon to try and complete them too!

Also, this might sound a bit cheesy but BioShock Infinite is a truly beautiful game and you'll know exactly what I mean when you first step through the doors and see Columbia for the first time!

Can't wait to play more, awesome work by Aspyr! ;) :apple: :apple:

Took me some time to read the whole thread but very interesting stuff!

Good job so far, Mac gaming definitely needs more and more people to actually help "spread the word". Technically wise you are doing great, I really like the vis. If I have one advise, it would be the same lots of you already gave: you need to work very hard to "market" the channel.

One year ago I started Mac Gamer HQ because I kinda realized Mac gaming was viable (used to be a console gamer). I though there was nothing on the net and while doing some research on it, I discovered lots of active blogs (IMG, Control Command Escape, OneClickMac, etc). Then I started a Youtube channel thinking there was nothing and saw there were already some!

Anyway the message, you need to "aggressively" market your channel if you want to build an audience.

Most Mac users really think there are no Mac games out there so they don"t even think to look for videos or sites. In this forum there are MANY experienced Mac gamers and even they don't know there are OS X gaming Youtube channels. Imagine the average Mac user...

Anyway, let's keep in touch (left you a message on Twitter :) ), I will be happy to help out how I can....

It really is silly that people still think there aren't many games on mac.

Just looking at my Steam Library I have 79 mac games out of 167. That doesn't even include games I buy elsewhere.
It really does seem that people just need to get the word out on Mac gaming

Also keep up the work Mr. OS X Adam :D

Elmzeh, that initial feeling of joy you get when first entering the gates of Columbia doesn't subside in later play throughs. I hadn't played it in about 4 months or so when it released for Mac, and it almost brought a tear to my eye. Excited to see your video for this one.

I know exactly what you mean! I'm still on my first play through but its got me hooked already, I've had to pull myself away from playing it - the scenery, story, gameplay... all of its awesome!

Let me know what you think :)

Great job! I personally would have visited the original 2 games first. Not because you need the story to enjoy Infinite, but now that I go back and play them both today, they pale in comparison to Infinite in pretty much every way. Still great games to play through once, but no where near as well done as Infinite, which I've already gone through maybe 3 or 4 times.

I totally get what you mean by this, not sure BioShock 1 & 2 can compare after playing Infinite but will still make for some good gaming! :D :apple:

Also! Just uploaded the first 3 episodes of my attempt at doing an Amnesia: The Dark Descent Playthrough...

It starts off a little slow but the fear gets worse and weird things start happening as the episodes go on...

I vote for Left 4 Dead 2 and Counter Strike:Global Offensive.

Hey Irishman!

As requested there's a new video up featuring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive;

The video features a quick overview of the game, a tour of de_dust2 (Map) as well as some online competitive gameplay as both a Counter Terrorist and Terrorist

It's cut down and only shows a few rounds here and there as sometimes the matches can last up to 90 minutes! But let me know what you all think, if you like it and want to see more I can always upload full competitive matches for you to see!

:apple: :apple:

I'd like seeing Diablo III, Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead myself of those choices although they are all good ones really. Coverage of both single player and multiplayer in those games would be cool, even though I know the focus is on multiplayer with the latter two titles.

Hey guys,

Brand new video up today featuring Killing Floor running in Mac OS X :apple:

Game Description (Wikipedia)

Killing Floor is a first person shooter, allowing each player to move through a 3D environment. Gameplay consists of a single game type, in which the player fights waves of zombie-like specimens, with each wave becoming successively more difficult, until it concludes with a battle against a "boss" specimen, called the Patriarch.

Players earn in-game money for each kill, as well as for surviving to the end of a wave. In the time between each waves, players can visit a trader to buy and sell ammo, armor, and additional weapons, ranging from katanas, pipe bombs, flamethrowers, shotguns, and so forth; the Trader's location on the level varies at the end of each wave, discouraging players from camping in one location. Weapons may also be found randomly across the level.

Players are encouraged to work together; they can trade items and drop money, healing is more effective on other players than on oneself, and the team can strategically weld doors shut to provide a temporary barrier from the oncoming horde while funneling the other creatures to specific areas.

Let me know what you think!

We need to try and get a nice Mac gaming session going at some stage. Would be fun and interesting with a few people. :)

Thanks for doing Killing Floor. I enjoyed getting to see that one. Yet something else I want to play now. :)

I don't understand why this isn't getting more steam.

I think something like this should be bumped, shared, Tweeted, etc.

We should be making strides to show developers that gaming natively in OSX is something a lot of us are embracing and would invest into.

That new flagship game you released? It's $59.99. That's $59.99 per Mac user that you won't get because we won't buy it until it has a Mac client and by then, the price will have gone down considerably.

Even using Mac support at launch is enough to push thousands of launch sales.

Good job. I was considering doing something like what you're doing/done.

It's not just Elmzeh! We're both working hard and we're making steps. I deal majority of the time with Indies, and so many have responded positively towards getting the game on Mac OSX.
Many times they'll actually go try, and compile for Mac, and have me test the builds and showcase them

I think it's fascinating that Indies can manage that sometimes, in less than week, while many so called 'AAA' companies can not.

Agreed. I think a more localized scope is a great way for engineers in today's society to push out polished finished products. The problem with a lot of triple A titles is that they get so bloated and inflated with features and magnitude that it's so easy to get caught up in this long project time of years that has so many opportunities for delays and mistakes.

What I like about Indie developers is that they come up with a simple but elegant idea and build it one step or level at a time. It's how a lot of games should be made.
