11 pro max owner here

I really want the new design more than anything, IMO the software has always been meh.... the updates aren't really anything to brag about either.

I'll probably get the 12 next year for cheap
I remember the first time I saw an iPhone 12 last year in a store and man what a underwhelming overpriced thing that was. The only difference I could see was the flat sides, everything else was exactly the same. I don’t really care about the design though other than colors, it’s the OS that’s lacking, the home screen looks exactly the same as it did in iOS 7, and all that was changed back then was the icons and dock. The iOS Home Screen only differs from iOS 1 because you can change the wallpaper and the dock looks different, it’s so stale if it was bread it would have turned into dust by now.
I couldn’t imagine paying 1300+ dollars for a 12 pro max, why pay that much for 2018 technology when you can pay half that for something far better?

Most people don’t want android phones which has rushed hardware Which isn’t ready, also not to mention the countless gimmicks, just because the specs look good on paper, doesn’t mean the phone is any good.

They can’t risk that
They’ll be fine, apple customers know how apple operates, the tech clearly isn’t ready, so apple won’t rush into the foldable market until it’s up to their standards, I’ll be first in line for one when it’s ready.

Well they better brighten up for better and better designs

The price of the newly launched iPhone will be very high, but the price will be much lower in the second year.

Not really, iPhones don’t depreciate like android phones, might be lucky to get a $150 off a 13 pro max after its been out for a year.

The iPhone 11 has barely changed price here.

We will see what is what on the 14th i hope :)

Still on the fence regarding max pro, still feels like the normal pro has perfect size
Same here bud. I want the features especially the camera specs but in the regular pro size. Willing to go up to a max I just hope I don’t regret all that weight.
I do WFH now pretty much all the time. I’m a dad so all I really do now days is hang at home with kids and play 🏀 when I have a moment. Looking forward to get back out on trips, even just some local visits to the zoo and holiday destinations in my state.
for all the above I don’t know if max will be an issue. My clubbing days are definitely behind me so won’t need to fit some tight pants 😂😂😂

If it’s like the 12 it wasn’t worth going to max…features didn’t come close to being better at all.

There isn’t anything far better that I’ve seen. I agree though I wouldn’t pay £1k+ for any phone though, which is why I bought the standard iPhone 12. That cost me £799 and next upgrade I want to be saving money. The iPhone is solid, even if it’s a little boring, but that’s been the case for years now.

I’ll be honest and say I have absolutely no desire to own a foldable smartphone. As long as there is an option for a flat, solid design like we have had since 2007, i’ll be buying it. I really don’t get the foldable need at all.

2 in 1 iPhone & iPad? best of both worlds

Great for those that need that but I don’t need to carry an iPad everywhere. I’m happy having both devices for separate purposes. Introducing mechanical hinges and flexible screens for me, just adds extra components that will fail at some point. No thanks for me and I hope the design emphasis doesn’t go down that route for the mainstream iPhones. I just hope demand for these devices isn’t greater than the odd tech article I am seeing now.

No person in their right mind, should change their phone every year. Many of us do, that what makes all these companies rich.

It all comes to circumstances and being responsible and sensible person.

For a normal person with a family, they can always down-cycle to younger family member even when they want to change new phone every year.

As a matter of principle, I would not do the upgrade program. It is not very intuitive for spending behaviour and also giving in too much to Giant corps.

We still can give in but a little by little
