There is no wrong or right on the matter. If there’s a feature that is vastly improved and important to you, upgrading might be worth it.

On the other hand, if you cannot imagine a reason to upgrade yourself, your current phone might be all you need.

I can’t wait for the weekend my new Pro Max arrives and I go all Richard Avedon for the next 2 weeks.

It sure does look sexy as hell. But matte black will look sexier because it’ll have the stealthier look. Hopefully, this time around it’s super dark.

Apple typically doesn’t even know what their final designs will look like until like 6 months before release. Anything can change between now and next year. If your phone fulfills your needs now, wait. We’ve been on this gravy chain for over 10 years now.

Also, the way Apple realeases phones is by trickling features. Every single phone has some kind of feature they will tout in marketing. Touch ID, 3D Touch, Telephoto lens. Google, however, throws everything but the kitchen sink in their phones (sometimes drowning out really good features).

I’ve had iPhones since the 4S. Realistically, there hasn’t been a change so earth shattering that it immediately made others obsolete (perhaps when they went lightning). I probably would still have had my 6 if the processor wasn’t under powered.

You realize once iPhone 14 comes out, the rumors for 15 start (or whatever they name it), etc.... You can wait forever to upgrade. If you need or want a new phone just go get one- don't worry about upgrade dates.

Basically every fall Apple comes out with a new iPhone.

We will see what is what on the 14th i hope :)

Still on the fence regarding max pro, still feels like the normal pro has perfect size

11 pro max owner here

I really want the new design more than anything, IMO the software has always been meh.... the updates aren't really anything to brag about either.

I'll probably get the 12 next year for cheap
 
There’s a mass hysteria over camera bumps I swear. It’s a tiny little protrusion on the back of your phone that you don’t even notice once a case is on anyways. I wish the camera “bump” was bigger, the bigger it is the better the components they can squeeze inside.

This, is a camera bump, try carrying this around all day and you won’t ever complain about a 1mm protrusion on the back of your phone ever again.
