So now we’re getting 1tb models again 🤦‍♂️😂 article from yesterday said no 1tb models this year. 😳

Im hoping apple stores are open again by the time the new iPhones are released 🥺 looks like we’ll have a 10km travel limit, looks like I’ll be breaking that limit so I can go to the store. 🤫😁👀📱😂

I might be wrong but : we had :
  • iPhone 2g / 3G - 3Gs : first design cycle
  • iPhone 4 - 4s / 5 - 5s : first big design change (4 years)
  • iPhone 6 - 6s / 7 - 8 : to me 8 was the s version of the 7 : another big design change with this cycle (4 years)
  • iPhone X - Xs / 11 Pro - 12 Pro : to me the 12 Pro is the s version of the 11 Pro : yes we had a design change with the 12 / 12 Pro but the notch had been the same for 4 years, since the X… so same 4 years cycle
  • Then we are getting the 13 and despite the recent leaks about the 14, I think the 14 will be the s version of the 13 with a smaller notch with these two versions
In my opinion, the biggest change will come with the 15, in 2023 with either the punch hole front camera or everything under display if Apple can manage to do it for 2023.

It doesn’t look like Apple to reduce the notch with the 13 for one year only and then go with the punch hole with the 14. But again I might be wrong.

What do you think ?

Loving my M1 MacBook Pro, I really want Face ID and ProMotion on my next mac, me and Touch ID don’t get along for some reason 🤦‍♂️😂 that’s most likely a few years away 😔

I’ll see if I can resist the urge to buy the latest 16” beast.

I know one thing, you’re going to love the m1x Mac or whatever they call it lol.

Stays silent and cool 24/7, battery life for 10-11 days with light use 👌

It’s not copying if you make it better, all the Face ID components will go behind the screen, leaving only the camera visible.

While these punch hole android phones continue using insecure face scan or whatever they call it, I unlocked my mates s10 with a photo of him on my phone. 🤦‍♂️😂

Luckily his seen the light and is now using a iPhone 11.

I find it hard to believe Apple will suddenly scrap the notch design and go hole punch right after they reduce the size of the notch as rumoured/pretty much confirmed on the iPhone 13.

I expect the (smaller) notch to stay, for at least a couple more years. Why spend all that money, time and effort reducing the size of the notch only to scrap it the very next year?

And in any event, the design is already being done by plenty of Android phones. Apple does it better, but they don’t take risks.

I know a few. It’s a bougie-flex. They do it to “minimize depreciation”. Which doesn’t sound like a very bougie rationale on a product you can finance at wal mart or a mall kiosk. None in my sample do it for the love of the technology.

It was more popular when there were more various annual trade-in programs going on with carriers.

Many of my Android using friends upgrade annually because their phones become bloated garbage after a year or two, however.

If your laptop battery lasts for 10 days you literally don’t need a laptop

Wow, surprised you kept it this long, had a note 10+ for a few day, was about to throw it at the wall 🤦‍♂️😂

lucky I kept my xs max, sold that piece of garbage to a family member, then he sold it and got a iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Samsung still has a long way to go, big specs and gimmicks won’t cut it. Bloatware and useless settings galore.

I don’t know what to think. I have a 11 pro and my company pay every two years a new phone so I could take the 13 but I can’t choice. 13 or waiting for the 14
 
I have to laugh at the 1 TB comments - when I bought my first Apple device it was an Apple II (not e not + but the first commercial available computer from Apple). At the store I told them I wanted a 16k version and they salesperson wanted to know why I wanted that much memory. Now we are talking about 1 TB.
