WWDC 2013 Scholarship Thread

I'm really not sure of how it'll go for me. My app was so-so looking, but I have a pretty good résumé. Just hoping they read through everything and don't just deny things at first look.
And yup. Adrenaline's started pumping.

I'm in the same boat as you. Good résumé, alright looking app
 
Last year applicants were not alerted of their acceptance until 1pm PDT. So I still think we are roughly 3 hours off. If you don't get in, remember, there is always a next year and that there were probably more than a thousand applicants vying for only 150 seats. Suffice it to say, if you didn't get it, there are a ton more people in your situation than not.

Or hit up the altWWDC which is what I will be doing if I don't get in.

True that. There will be a lot more people not making it, than making it! I'm here in Houston, and I hope we all get to make it. Regardless of how good or bad the apps are. Maybe we can make a facebook page of some sort and we can meet up if we make it! I'm weary because the tickets go for $1,700 a pop, so chances are slim in making it. I found this forum and signed up immediately. Anyways, lets hope for the best and if you make it, say that you did!

Edit: The fact that I constantly keep refreshing my email! Hahah! My heart keeps racing, that I might get a heart attack and end up not being able to go! Haha! #

Don't feel down. Always be optimistic. Chances are I'm not going to make it, but hey, I like to think that I will!
 
Considering how much we all care about this, it would be a shame for us not to win!

Dude wtf! Me too! I've been constantly refreshing my email for the past 4 hours. I must know! They're late this year. Last year I heard they notified people at 1PM PDT. Not the case this year! Ay karamba! I can hear my own hearbeat!
