Are the silver 14 Pros really that popular or do they just not have a lot of stock? The delivery estimates are all the way out to October 28th, but many of the other colors are still estimated for delivery this Friday or in September at least.
I can see them being the most popular since they ARE the best looking lol.. I ordered one and have to wait til Oct 28...I would rather have the color I want than have it now like some people...My guess is they made more of the new colors assuming they would sell more..

All this talk about getting phones unlocked.. I will have two XS's I am selling once I hand my 12 pro down to my son and once I activate my wifes 14 pro.. Both been paid for off for years.. Do I still need to have them unlock before I sell on ebay? Never did that with past phones so I assume it unlocks on its own after being paid off and some time passes?
You can sell them on eBay carrier locked if you like, though it may result in a less chance of someone buying. I don't believe the devices auto unlock. I am using an iPhone 11 with Xfinity Mobile that has been paid off for almost 2 years now and the sim was still showing carrier locked up until yesterday when I initiated an unlock via live chat.

Just got my shipping email and tracking, it's coming from Fort Worth, TX. I suspected we'd get this info Tuesday. I'm sure you will all be getting the email in a few minutes.
Nice! What time did you originally order? I placed my order at 8:19am EDT(19 minutes after pre orders went live) order confirmation 9:06am. Still seeing nothing on Xfinity and my FedEx delivery manager account.

Does anyone have knowledge or experience with Google Voice? I snagged a GV number and want to use it as the phone number to satisfy the Xfinity promo requirements. Yesterday I went to the my GV homepage and it has a box next to my phone number that says unlock.

When I click on that it says to unlock this number to move it to another carrier it will cost $3 via Google Pay. Does that sound right or should I just ignore that message?

General Xfinity question ... so i'm porting over a family account (4 lines) from AT&T.

I really want the silver 14 pro ... which has wait times until the end of October ... which i am actually OK with (I have another phone from work i use to get me by) ... however, i really don't want to keep that line active on AT&T for an entire extra month just waiting for my phone.

None of the phones i have around work on on Xfinity ... can they just send me the SIM and activate it while i wait for the phone to arrive? Or send me some kind of loaner phone?

Yes, that’s how GV does it. I ported my GV number over for the 12 mini deal a month back. Heads up it took 3 days for the number to port to Xfinity.

Just confirming that xFinity iPhones NEVER Auto Unlock. You need to call, or preferably, text them to initiate the process by making a formal request. Don’t expect anything to happen automatically.

What's the process of activating the phone and the GV number once you receive it? Is it done in Store or via Chat?

Does anyone have any clarity on the process for activating the iPhone 14 with eSIM this time around? I’m hoping that since we pre-ordered from them the info should be in their system already and the phone should activate upon power-on but I’m not totally sure.

I did it all on the website. If I remember right, I saw the new phone on the Devices page. When you click on it, there are fields to enter carrier information you’re porting from. I entered my GV account # (my phone number) and pin (my GV voicemail pin). Just make sure your GV # is unlocked before starting the porting process.

Thanks for the info. I haven't ordered it yet and i'm glad I haven't because I might have wound up paying retail instead of getting a $400 discount. When I got to the payment info there was nothing asking me prior to that to enter my 4 Pin GV #. Was that normal?

Also, GV says that by unlocking the number you risk someone else could take the number. How is that possible if you have a 4 digit code?

My order for a Space Black 256GB iPhone 14 Pro Max went through at 8:05 am and my confirmation email is timestamped at 8:06 am.

Do you remember if you saw the delivery date before checkout? You can always call or chat with an Xfinity Mobile rep to find out what date it will be delivered.

For anyone who hasn't received the email yet, as long as you saw your delivery date for 9/16 when you placed your order, you'll get it on 9/16. Xfinity Mobile's site was getting hammered and was showing out of stock for a couple of minutes (this happened last year with 13 Pro Max for me, Apple's own site had similar issues) and finally showed all Space Black Pro Max iPhones with delivery on 9/16.

I guess we have 2 Xfinity threads going didn't realize that until now, anyways yes I did see the 9/16 ship date. I screen recorded the entire tab on my pc from start to finsh so I can go back and look at any data I need to see.

Even with AT&T and other carriers you need to put in a request to unlock. No phone automatically unlocks itself if it had carrier restrictions to begin with.

Question fellow Xfinity people….I normally preorder, but didn’t this year but was hoping to go in store and pick up a new phone on release day. Do stores normally get any phones and is it very busy? Newer to Xfinity and not quite sure how release day will be with them.

I do believe they will have a few in store- you may find that it's not the color you want, or the storage capacity you want- but I do think from past experience that they will have some tomorrow.

Well after much debate, I decided to get the Xfinity deal. I ordered the purple iPhone 14 Pro Max, taking advantage of the $400 discount which just means I get 24 months of service included with the price of the phone. I unlocked and ported my GV number today before placing the order. Xfinity says my phone is on backorder and should arrive on October 28th barring any delays.

Is there a way to cancel the order if I decided I didn't want to wait and I wanted to buy it directly from Apple?
