Is this not because of the true tone display on 7? Depending on the ambient light, the screen might be more yellow under certain conditions?

My iPhone 4S has a yellow tinge, personally I think it's quite nice and soothing on the eyes.

I love my screen but what's bothering me is the fact that it seems to be slightly more yellow or brighter at the very bottom. I tried to capture this in a picture. It's way better in reality but i think you get the idea. Would you say this is a defective screen or is it normal?

Both. Both defective and highly common. I wouldnt stand for it personally.

My iPhone 7 Plus's screen is yellowish, most noticeable when reading in low light or at night. The screen on my 6 Plus is much better and easier to read.

Overall I actually like the 6 Plus better (thinner, lighter, better screen, more stable) than the 7 Plus. 7 Plus is faster, but that doesn't compensate for its flaws.

You seem to really dislike the 7. I say return it.

There are already a few threads on this topic, did you really need to start another.

Agree

The iPhone 7+ (en 7) will show for sure a warmer screen than previous iPhone 6/6s Plus (or 6/6s). Now the best is really to compare (if possible indeed) with iPhone 7/7+ from the display.

Got the same feeling when opening the box and compared with my previous 6s... But then I've compared my 7+ screen with another 7+ from the display and mine was looking pretty much the same (with some smallish variances depending on one or another 7+ screens).

Overall I feel my 7+ screen less aggressive for my eyes, especially when reading stuff on it for an hour or so.

But yea if you feel unhappy just change it...

Me thinks you've been smoking too many of those t-shirts. The facts are, the 6 Plus and 7 Plus are exactly the same thickness, the same weight, and not sure what is wrong with your 7 Plus, but most people don't have stability problems with the iPhone 7 Plus. Most, if not all, issues are iOS 10 related. Better screen? My 7 Plus screen looks fine to me. It's warmer than my iPhone 6 was, but it also has better colors than my 6.

Like others have said, get rid of it and move on.

The 6 Plus is 10% lighter than the 7 Plus. You can easily tell and the display is more blue/cool. I prefer it but the speed of the 7 Plus is just insane. Tough call.

If you like the 6S more, get the 6S. No need to ask strangers over the internet for approval.

Google it and you will find the solution to have your 7/7+ look like your previous iPhone. My replacement was yellow as well until I changed some settings and now it's bright.

This is what I don't understand. Why do some phones come out perfect out of the box and some have to be adjusted to have it look close to perfect or acceptable. My phone seems okay and I don't have any yellowish screen but my friend has the yellowish screen and he is annoyed since Apple has a no return policy in Hong Kong. Any problems have to be dealt at their genius bar.
