That’s great if the only display you ever look at is your phone. In my case I use the 12 mini next to my tv, computer display and laptop, so I am constantly reminded of the awful green tint when switching back and forth between devices. Never had this problem with any of my previous iPhones.
So what do you do? You've got 6000 posts in this thread talking about these displays being awful and unacceptable. Then there is the rest of the world, outside this forum, that don't seem to have these problems.

Based on people's experiences in this thread, exchanging for a new iPhone has a very low chance of getting something "better" since they all seem to be pretty much similar.

If it were me, and this was a big issue to me, I'd look at phone alternatives to see if other manufacturers make something more acceptable to me. Going on and on in this thread for months seems like an exercise in futility.

Maybe, someday, Apple will "fix" this "problem" and everyone here can say their endless posting was not futile. I doubt that day will come.

This. My iphone 7, iphone xr, laptop, tv and ipad are all much cooler than my iphone 12. Constantly reminded.

Most people don’t care about display calibration so they don’t notice. Good for them.

I personally am switching to an LCD iPhone as I find this problem to be unacceptable for a phone in this price range. If you’re happy with your iPhone 12 that’s great for you but then why are you even in this thread? Enjoy your phone.

edit: also I’d like to mention that this problem definitely exists outside of this forum. I went here and registered specifically because of it. Not sure where you got the idea that it’s exclusive to this place. This has been mentioned by tech youtubers and can be found on numerous other places.

I'm here for entertainment. People taking pictures of their phones and asking strangers on the internet whether their display is ok or not is funny. You gotta admit that.

I know what you mean. I also use a mac, macbook, ipad, work iphone x but to be honest it has stopped bothering me. They all change depending on ambient lighting conditions anyway.

Why I think my iPhone 12 Pro screen color changes a bit according to ambient lightning even when I turn off my True Tone. I feel that my phone are more ‘white’ when I m at home which the light are brighter, whereas my phone feel more ‘yellow’ at office which the light more dim

Yeah, that’s a bit weird. Not sure what they’re hoping to accomplish with that.

Here's my 12 display.
Left is 11 Pro, right is 12. The other one is the screenshot that I took for checking the issue, if you guys want to check too.
Just wanna know if your display had the same issue or not.

Looking at some of the S21 Ultra first impressions and man, those screens are beautifully white as white and very even!
Because it doesn’t have True Tone. Not unless you’re referring to unevenness which won’t be portrayed on camera nor when brightness is set to Max like his device is

Oh okay whatever I'm done with iPhone 12 mini. Going to return the new mini, put the old one on used market

Decide to end it here. Could be harsher on that poor customer supporter...But I don't think anything would change. I don't think I will get any useful responses.

Conclusion, software fix is a joke. Even it's true, it probably has the lowest out of the lowest priority in their pipe line. Status is probably "just considering a plan of a plan of software fix"

Honestly, I was thinking the opposite. Apart from the second photo which clearly has a cooler white balance (evident from the grey-ish skin tone), the S21 screen looks warm to me.

Side-by-side comparison needed.
Believe it or not many Samsung users have been complaining about increased yellower whites as compared to their previous Samsung devices. It’s all over the forums. Samsung year after year reduce blue filter on their oled panels. That’s why.
