Mine was 100 times better after replacing the panel, it’s clearly a faulty panel, apple should honor replacing it, since it came like that straight out of the box.
he said it appears at 8% brightness that is easy to avoid, I’m not saying that’s right but considering the rest of the screen looks good is it really worth all the messing around. I guess it’s if they are happy enough themselves and don’t see the issue with normal use.
and I agree apple should honour a replacement if the person wants regardless if it was bought from a third party

Good point, but my green tint issue was fully resolved with a panel replacement, if the OP is happy, keep it.

Since it’s a apple product, apple shouldn’t knock back repairing it, even if it was purchased from somewhere else, poor form by apple.

@Limeybastid can oled panels shift in color? not talking about off axis, I swear my panel looks better one minute, then worse the next. 🤦‍♂️

Y’all would keep the left side unit correct? Returning one to the apple store tomorrow. To me it seems more uniform overall than the right even though still slightly affected. Right side is more yellow too.

definitely the left one

Oh no, is it an express replacement?
Then that decides it for you, you are keeping the phone you have. 😂
There was a mix up with home delivery or store pick up, asked them if I can return the new phone if it’s worse than my current phone, they said I’ll have to send back my current phone.

Not willing to gamble on a new panel which could end up being worse, told them to cancel the new phone, I’ll keep this gorgeous red tint crap in the meantime. 😁🤦‍♂️😂

Don’t want a new phone with severe tinting on one side, my display is very uniform and has no grey banding issues.

Definitely the left one for the win. 👌

Honestly, the red shift I see is so minor in comparison to the rest of the phone. Nothing is perfect, there is always going to be a trade-off some where. Apple could not afford to examine each and every panel before shipping, the shipping times would be glacial.

Mine look ok? YouTube grey test, disregard the iPad reflection on the screen lol.

Agree mate, happy with my decision.
