How could you tell the difference?Yellow whites describes the tint. Warm whites describes the color temperature.
why dont u try to get its replace?Personally I’m more inclined to think it’s hardware related.

It is more likely related to where the panel is cut from the sheet, middle or end.You likely got lucky because my previous 13 pro max that I returned was G9P but the screen panel was horrid. My current 13 Pro max is G9N and is actually a good screen.
I guess the best way is toggling True Tone off/on.How could you tell the difference?
What do you mean?I guess the best way is toggling True Tone off/on.
It is easy to see the warm white by toggling True Tone. With True Tone off if whites are still have a yellow cast to them, then it is a yellow tinting issue. I can clearly see the difference on my display, the warm white disappears and the whites look brighter and whiter. What do you mean?
So with true tone off if it's still warmer white then the display is defective? It is easy to see the warm white by toggling True Tone. I guess you would need to determine that. Is it something you can live with? I guess it will depend on how yellow the display is with True Tone off. I think True Tone is trying to keep the display around 6500K color temperature which give the whites a warmer look. Next to pure while, True Tone would have a yellow cast to it.So with true tone off if it's still warmer white then the display is defective?
Looking at it compared to my MacBook at 6500k, it's very close but hard to tell because I keep my brightness up and having something brighter makes it look yellow?I guess you would need to determine that. If you turn the brightness to match by eye, how does it compare?Looking at it compared to my MacBook at 6500k, it's very close but hard to tell because I keep my brightness up and having something brighter makes it look yellow?
Almost similar oled vs lcd prevents it from being perfectIf you turn the brightness to match by eye, how does it compare?
I think you have your answer. Are you happy overall with the display on your phone? If yes, then just enjoy it.Almost similar oled vs lcd prevents it from being perfect
Yeah, just flickering at low brightness no big dealI think you have your answer. Are you happy overall with the display on your phone? If yes, then just enjoy it.
I have never seen that before in any other photos of the iPhone 12 or 13.Posted in the other thread but my 13 mini looked bad
Sticking with 12 pro too in the end

According to @TheYayAreaLiving They do .. apparently those models are hand picked .🤣I've heard that the higher storage models (516 and 1T) have good uniform screens, can anyone confirm this or is it all the same?
