why dont u try to get its replace?

I’m waiting for 15.1 to fix another issue I noticed. Once I know if 15.1 fixes that, then I’ll keep exchanging to find the one with better screen. If 15.1 doesn’t fix the second issue, I’ll just return it and wait for iPhone 14.

If I start returning now, and realise 15.1 didn’t fix the other issue, my efforts in exchanging would be wasted.

You likely got lucky because my previous 13 pro max that I returned was G9P but the screen panel was horrid. My current 13 Pro max is G9N and is actually a good screen.
It is more likely related to where the panel is cut from the sheet, middle or end.

What do you mean?
It is easy to see the warm white by toggling True Tone. With True Tone off if whites are still have a yellow cast to them, then it is a yellow tinting issue. I can clearly see the difference on my display, the warm white disappears and the whites look brighter and whiter.

So with true tone off if it's still warmer white then the display is defective?

I guess you would need to determine that. Is it something you can live with? I guess it will depend on how yellow the display is with True Tone off. I think True Tone is trying to keep the display around 6500K color temperature which give the whites a warmer look. Next to pure while, True Tone would have a yellow cast to it.

Looking at it compared to my MacBook at 6500k, it's very close but hard to tell because I keep my brightness up and having something brighter makes it look yellow?

Posted in the other thread but my 13 mini looked bad

Sticking with 12 pro too in the end

The factory that produces these panels doesn't offer bathroom breaks.... So the employees had to take matters to the SHEETS.

and for the red colors... females work there with no personal/sick leave....

Your panels may have different color variations based on (but not limited to) levels of dehydration, employee for that production line and day, employee time of the month, current flow of each individual employee, and many more factors will contribute to the variances with these panels.

Please try to understand...They're trying their very best to do their job and only doing what they're told. You can't fault them for that....

Yesterday I went shopping in different malls and visited various local stores selling Apple products. I took the time to compare my 13 PM with others 13 Pro or Pro Max in the displays and the inconsistencies were more than obvious. No screen was exactly the same as the others. Some were warmer than mine, others with a nice white temp but looked washout, and one of them was really reddish to the right side, just like a 45 degrees gradient from left bottom to the top right. I talked to one of the managers or supervisors and they are aware of the situation and according to this guy, it always happens since the introduction of OLED panels. For him, the worst time was the 12 series. He removed the reddish iPhone 13 pro from the display after I show him how bad it looked. He said the big majority of people don't care or can't notice this issue. Only tech professionals, photographers, and others alike are sensitive to these kinds of problems and end replacing their phones. He always recommends returning the device and exchanging it for a new one o get your money back and wait 5 or 6 months until the manufacturers sort these issues out.
