I was hoping for external monitor support, better multi-tasking (more than what was announced), a more robust files app and perhaps some pro apps like XCode or Final Cut Pro.i honestly don't know what everyone was expecting? a new OS??
If you have 2020 iPad Pro or heck even 2018 iPad pro = Don't buy.Reasons to justify buying an M1 iPad pro
A lot of people want the iPad to be something it isn't right now. They want it to be another macOS device. The iPad is an awesome media consumption device and even with some editing (I edit photos and videos on mine).like which reasons? I have a 2020 (and knew a new display would be coming soon). I don't plan on upgrading for another year or two. But there are some here creating these weird narratives about Apple. If you have 2020 iPad Pro or heck even 2018 iPad pro = Don't buy.
If you don't have any iPad Pro or later = It's worth it.
Simple as that.
It's definitely looking like that's the case. I'm waiting to see if there's any specific M1 features on the iPadOS 15 page coming shortly, but looks like 2020/2018 iPP users are currently safe... definitely wouldn't upgrade. If you have 2020 iPad Pro or heck even 2018 iPad pro = Don't buy.
