Has any one else experienced some cursor lag when using the trackpad on Yosemite? I notice that if I leave the cursor static for a while then move it there is a delay between my input on the trackpad and movement of the cursor on screen. The same thing happens with my bluetooth mouse. Any ideas or a possible fix would be great. Thanks in advance

Nothing here yet, but I just upgraded my mid 2013 MBA this morning. I'm using a USB wireless mouse, bluetooth keyboard & external monitor.
Its happened to me a couple times too! and sliding from the edge for the notification bar is not working 50% of the time
Got a fix!
Update: HAD a fix. worked fine for about 10 min, now acting up again....
Was on with Apple tech support today- after running through the gamut of initial potential fixes (which didn't work - restarting, trying other peripherals, safe mode, etc), they advised reinstalling 10.10 and now the mouse/keyboard are working as normal.
Hold down Command+R while turning on computer, choose reinstall and wait ~45 min as it downloads/reinstalls. I was told you probably do not need to backup before. Good luck!

I downloaded OSX Yosemite Beta this summer and noticed this bug, so I come back to Maverick. Today I downloaded the finale versione and this annoying bug is still here.

MBP Yosemite Magic Mouse Disconnects
Having the same problem with my Magic mouse. I had it once in a while on Mavericks but it's a chronic issue with Yosemite. The problem happens both while on battery and on power. Further, I notice a .5 second lag if the mouse is left idle for more than 30 seconds or so - almost as if it's reconnecting. I have removed the mouse from bluetooth and added it to no avail.
The only workaround I've found is to turn off bluetooth on my MBP, wait, then turn it back on. That usually resolves the issue for 10 minutes or so then the issue returns.

I have had this problem (or something very similar) w/ Mavericks on a late 2013 rMBP since day one. I have never been able to a find a solution. I learned to live with it and honestly, I don't ever notice it anymore.

I noticed this happens at the same time I get this message on Console:
Could anyone check it out and see if the same happens on your Mac?
And, as you can see, this is constantly happening (number of reinit's).

Any solutions guys? I've tried PRAM and SMC resets and messed around with safe boot mode all to no avail. The lag is irritating me so much I'm tempted to starting using my old white plastic macbook running tiger... At least the dock will remind me of Yosemite

Yeah - this is happening to me too, and it's driving me crazy. I've made several posts about it now, it's a shame no fix has been found/released, especially considering there was a very large public beta.
So I went to my local Apple store today to carry out some research. I tried to replicate the cursor lag issue on all of the notebooks they had in store.
From what I can tell, this issue (on notebooks) only seems to effect the 13 inch retina models. Of the three I tested the issue was easily reproducible. However what surprised me was I tried the same thing on four 15 inch retina pros as well as a couple of macbook airs (11 and 13 inch) and I couldn't detect and sort of cursor lag.
