I already have 15GB iCloud anyway and only have 1GB free left. :apple:

It's time to upgrade that plan hahaha. But I'm glad that plans are affordable now. It was like $50 for 100GB in iCloud. With photos there's no way 100GB will do anything. I'm glad they made it cheaper for the average user.

I thought Tim said: 5GB - free; 20GB - 0.99/month; 200GB - 2.99/month?

Apple needs to work on accepting payments thru iTunes card / iTunes system...

Then I would get 200GB yearly subscription - gladly drop box.net / dropbox etc..

EDIT: From Apple:
Accepted payment methods for iCloud storage upgrades include credit cards, debit cards, and iTunes Store credit. If you don't have enough iTunes store credit to complete your upgrade, you'll be charged the remaining amount. Apple Store gift cards are not accepted as payment for upgrading iCloud storage.

Apple iCloud payment info as of 2.7.2014

Yosemite has some exciting features, but the design is...boring and cheap looking, imo. I hope there will be plenty of UI changes before release.

Installed it yesterday and indeed it looks cheap, flat and boring...
But it was my first impression... I think i will get used to it...

It runs so stable on my MBA installed it on a second partition...
But was tired of rebooting so i'm now installing it on VM Ware...

I don't mind the look. In some respects, it harkens back to earlier versions of OS X, but it's far less of a chance than even iOS 7 was to iOS 6. I'm guessing that part of the push toward "flatness" is driven by power consumption, as that was Microsoft's stated reason for removing the Aero effects from Windows 8 (even in Desktop mode).

I think it looks amazing, especially on Retina Macs. It is much better than the current design.

It looks very good, i'm looking forward to its public beta programme and release. The only thing that i'm not happy with, is those of us in the UK, won't be getting Spotlight suggestions :( i hope we get all the other features.

U.K.
iOS 8 and Yosemite has pretty much cemented me using an Apple laptop and phone for the foreseeable future. Even if I do spent a lot of computing time with a Windows machine.

I'm sure we will eventually. Does anyone know when public beta is coming?

I hope so because it would be a shame to lose out on features. We haven't got iTunes Radio yet :(

The public beta should be coming this summer I believe, there isn't an exact date but if you've signed up for the public beta Apple will let you know when it's available.
