If I were you I'd rather get Nexus line of phones. Samsung let Galaxy line filled with Network carrier's junk. There are lots of bloated ware on network specific phones. When I look at Nexus phone unlocked with JB it's clean but then there's no 4G LTE.

You can get a factory unlocked phone with no carrier bloatware or just root your phone and get rid of the carrier bloatware. Neither is as easy but it's if you really wanted to.

Amen to that. Hopefully it will be cool looking like the GNex too, the S3 may be a beast on the inside but my god is it ugly

I had the Galaxy Nexus and now I have the S3. I agree the design of the GNex is beautiful but the S3 is definitely better looking (in my opinion). I'm going to be getting the next Nexus too so if it looks like either of these phones I'd be happy :D

I am counting the days that you'll return the S3 and go for an iP5 after all

That's exactly what I'm doing Ive had the s3 for about a week and I like the phone but android is annoying. I miss things like iMessage, game center, better music player, and the mute button on the side. I also think the iPhone has a better battery life.

Those are retarded reasons to be upset...Each has it's own equal in android. For example, iMessage = Google talk

Google Talk is nothing like iMessage, as you have to sign in where as iMessage is always on. It is just like how before iMessage, there wasn't anything that could compare to BBM. Google Talk requires you to remember usernames in addition to phone numbers, whereas the phone number is enough on iMessage.

BS...I haven't signed into Google Talk one time. Just as with the iPhone, you are asked to use your google account to set up the phone. Once you make it passed the setup screens, you are set.

It's bad information like this that artificially holds people back. Google talk is exactly like iMessage. I have both. I have an iPad 3, I know.

Don't just throw crap out there, okay?

Is google talk built into the text messaging? No I don't believe it is...

It's an icon, just like iMEssage... Brah. You touch it and it opens showing you everyone available. Last time I used both was today....Still the same.

Man I wish I was as cool as you brah.
When you don't have cell coverage you have to go and open another app, it's not in the same one that will send over wifi or 3G. So it's two separate messaging services.

I message can send texts over wifi which is nice when you don't have cell coverage. I know you can get apps on android to do that but it's not in the same app. Android needs to do something similar, apple has it and blackberry did it with bbm

Then send them an SMS. It's one extra step for crying out loud. If having to click a different icon for someone you know without gtalk is that much more work for you, then you must be a difficult dude to get along with in the world.

EDIT: Or an email with the subject line containing the message.
