When I was on iOS I used gMusic for that and it worked pretty well.

Considering Google puts so many of their own apps on iOS, I'm surprised they haven't made an official Google Music app for iOS. But gMusic got the job done just fine when I used it.

Does it allow you to download music locally to your device for offline listening? And search for new songs from Google? It wasn't the apps that drove me from iOS to Android though even if they released an app for iOS I wouldn't switch. I'm betting it has something to do with Apple taking a 30% cut of Google Music subscriptions.

SwiftKey or Swype or even basic word prediction. iOS needs to hurry up and get swype. Would be great for my iPad Mini

Sorry, but I wouldn't bring jailbreak apps into this comparison...
Agreed, I was just showing the possibility exists. Apparently Path Input enables swiping without jailbreaking. I don't use swipe on Android either so I'm not the best person to answer this question. I have not tried those streaming apps. There are others like the TwitchTV app.

I do think it had both search and offline listening, but its been a while and I don't have anymore iOS devices so you would have to double check.

Ya, the 30% might be a factor, but I don't do Google Music All Access and I think it would still be great if they just added a Google Music app where the only thing is you would have to get on your computer to subscribe.

Wouldn't it only apply though to purchases/subscriptions made in the app? They could implement the same model as Amazon and allow access but require you to make purchases/subscriptions outside the iOS app.

I do use Music All Access and this would be a big obstacle to me every returning to iOS.
