I had one, used it for years on daily basis: Locko (Password Manager for iOS).
But it is discontinued.

Oh, man, you just reminded me that I'm still using MiniKeePass on a daily basis! That definitely counts as a free, often-used app for me, too bad it is going to shake hands with the dodo at the end of 2020. I'll probably be moving to Strongbox, which has a freemium business model.

I moved to Enpass. Not as good as my beloved, discontinued Locko, but close.

FileBrowser for Business (paid) because it works with exFAT external storage without corrupting files the way the Files app tends to. And it's a great general purpose file manager and interface to external devices (SMB) and cloud storage services.

I've been having problems transferring files on Files app. My file is typically greyed out and there is no spinning wheel so there is no access and sometimes difficulties deleting file unless I do a reboot or wait a really long time. Does FileBrowser have such issues? This is the biggest limiting factor for me in using my IPP more often.

1. LumaFusion - Hands down the best pro video editing app on the market for iPad.
2. Procreate - Most popular drawing app, very intuitive and packs lots of features for its price.
3. FileBrowser - Best file management app that should inspires whoever responsible for Files app.
4. Among Us - Silly game to annoy others, fun!
5. iWork (Keynote, Pages, Numbers) - Free compared to MS Office subscription plan.

That’ll be number 1 and 5 if I play by the question.

Same question sparksd. Is it that superior over Files app given the issues I am having? I'm all in if that is the case.

FileBrowser is definitely way better in terms of everything in file management compared to Files app.
Stability, reliability, features, etc.
Well except subjectively in user interface department.

@sparksd will give you more insights as he did for me :)

I would say yes. I use the Business version but the cheaper standard version fits most needs. It is simply more reliable on all transfers, large and small, and is the only app I really trust when using external storage formatted exFAT.

Had the regular version for a while now (even on my ATV), but recently purchased the business version mainly for direct access to my iXpand drive. FileBrowser in general is awesome.

Is the business version more reliable than the standard (non-Go) version, or just the app is more reliable in general?

I'm having problems copying and pasting a SINGLE small (190kb) file from Google drive onto the IPP. Heck, even Airdrop is sketchy at times with only...5 files being copied (pdf, small sizes largest being 265kb). So at this point, I'm still using my trust 7yo MBP to get stuff done.

Not entirely clear about your question, are you saying you're having problems with the Go version and are wondering if the Business version will solve them? One would think the two products would have the same core architecture so from the file transfer reliability front performance should be similar.

No, both versions are as reliable but the Business version has a few more features -

Awsome-sauce! I don't mind spending some $ to support hardworking third-party developers. And this isn't going to break the bank either. Thanks for all the info and the posts (I actually think i read part of them but never got through the entire trail).

Now if we can just figure out the lines on the back of the IPP from the magic keyboard....jeepers

I had some back and forth with the Stratospherix team and the they were just super. It's a small company - 4 people - but their product is solid. As they told me, they use the same iOS interfaces that Files is using so it's really unclear as to what the problem is with Apple's own product.

Goodnotes has been tremendously helpful for working from home. I had used it sparingly for small projects and side gigs but working from home it’s been revolutionary. Super helpful with all of its features such as moving text. Also the file system has been helpful getting organized.

on top of that I also started uploading calendars from numbers for tracking workouts. It’s been very motivating to mark what I plan to workout and what I actually did for exercise.

Any other file manager apps you would recommend? I tried FileBrowser and I like the secure folder system that is available. But it was a bit clunky and has a few more clicks that I should and want to complete. What do I mean? Well, moving a file to another folder example. I should not have to confirm that I want to move the flie over here when I’ve already purposely dragged my cursor to the far right of the screen just to click the Move here button. Or give me a plethora of keyboard shortcuts.

I think I recall you using Readdle documents but it didn’t have the secure folder system like FileBrowser does.

I also have Documents and File Explorer Pro but only use FileBrowser on a regular basis.

1Password free but super useful. I wish apple had a similar functioning app to store passwords, create password, store pins, and credit card info.
Pubg mobile: free game but it’s given me tons of entertainment over the past 2/3 yrs. I can stop playing for a few weeks then pick it up again.
peloton: comes with membership fee but I use it a lot for yoga, core, and bike excercise. At least 5x a week. It’s help out by managing my back pain so much. Big big life improvement it’s priceless.
Viber: messing app but it’s helped me stay connected through this with friends and family.
