Well, the 4s was EXACTLY the same design as the 4 and no fanboy was criticizing it, including you. Same would happen if 5 was the same design as 4s.
must be a great phone, best in the market but god their handsets are uuuuuuuuugly... iPhone LTE will crush it desing/performance wise
My iPhone contract has been up for over a month now and I'm looking at every new handset release with an open mind but, so far, nothing has really grabbed me enough to consider a change.
LOL...so you think if Apple kept the same exact design for three years that nobody would criticize them!? Are you joking!?
The one thing I've learned in the last 2 years since joining these forums -fanboys NEVER critisize Apple for ANYTHING. If Apple released the same exact phone, design and specs, and called it iPhone 5, fanboys will say that's fine because it's already perfect. I really believe that to be true.
While I know it's opinion what looks so bad about the S3? Looks like a phone, what makes the iPhones design better? It's a square, relatively boring IMO. Not to mention I find the ergonomics pretty bad, but I keep it in a case so at least holding it isn't a chore.
But it's pretty significant that they offer it for 2 years. That should cover anyone who gets a One X/S3 and wants to incorporate Dropbox.
I can't make a case against a microSD card, but personally I've never used one with respect to a smartphone and I never will.

Not everyone opts to use a case with their phones. So yes, it matters a great deal what is decided for the backing of a smartphone.
The only reason I use a case with my iP4 is because the glass is so slippery. I never used a case with my 3G iPhone and if I get the One X I will only use a case for specific things (beach, working outside, etc).
The cheap plastic build of Samsung phones is absolutely a negative.
The HTC One S looks to be a great device and i wish they incorerated a microcard because id get one. Real nice looking phone and perfect size but, they left out the card slot and made the battery unremovable so that seals its fate for me. Which really is a bummer.
The S3 is ugly???? I think some would disagree on that.
The One X is the first smartphone that I've played with that has made me seriously consider a jump to Android.
The only cons I can come up with are that the size of the device is too big for some, the internal memory storage is small, and fragmentation, which is an issue on most Android devices.
Much like the press made up the term "death grip" in regards to the iPhone 4, "fragmentation" is largely an anti-Android term. Yes it exists but it's not as big of a deal as most make it. I know I've had over eight Androids of different brands.
The HTC One X comes with Android 4.0.2 which its the latest mass market Android OS. I've used the phone and it's simply terrific. Based on my past experience with every version of Android since prior to 1.0, I can say that there's nothing about v4.0 that I would change.
I'm not claiming it's perfect... but it *is* excellent. Therefore one can use this phone for at least two years. It will perform, fast, smooth and reliably.
So is aluminum and frankly, so is the plastic back on my Vibrant. I just dont get the comments on the "cheap plastic back". Its no different than than the millions who happily went and bought the "cheap plastic back" of the iPhone that many complained it had light leakage with small cracks around it.
Now that the iPhone has a brittle wrap around glass feature, sure it looks nice but it isnt any more durable at all. The plastic back doesnt bother me in the least. The cover comes off, i can access my microcard, change my battery to pop in another if i need to.
Speaking of the microcard, that feature is awesome. All my music is on there so when i play it, i dont have to use data like on dropbox or Pandora so my battery dont use as much juice or i dont have to worry about a weak spot and the music being interrupted and when i change phones, i just pop it out and insert it in another phone and it is ready to go that fast. Same with videos and i can put any games i have on it as well.

4.0.4 has not been approved by all carries yet. That's why the One X I tried at AT&T was running the earlier version. It was lag free, fast and very smooth, so should I decide to buy one of those I will leave it as it is.The latest is 4.0.4 and they come with 4.0.3(One S does anyways) but HTC usually gets the updates where Samsung lags in that department.
The hard plastic of the 3G and 3GS is substantially nicer and more conducive to gripping compared to the plastic I've encountered in Samsung devices.
The polycarbonate of the One X is a dream to grip.
