    Possible to re-format APFS to HFS+?

    I formatted an SSD destined to become my new High Sierra boot disk as APFS, not realizing that HFS would have been fine. Is there any way I can re-format this drive to HFS+?     Constant Kernel panics and Mac crashing because of SSD?

    Cloning APFS SSD to disk image on HD?

    I have a 240GB boot drive on my CMP 5,1 running High Sierra which is about 90% filled and which I want to replace with a 500GB external SSD. Can I create an APFS disk image on a hard drive, clone the old boot drive to the disk image and then clone the disk image to the 500GB SSD?

    Hi, is anyone aware what cell level is used in the Mac Mini 2018's SSD NAND? SLC, MLC, TLC or even QLC? As far as i have seen (on iFixit) apple is soldering Toshiba TSB3225V81199TWNA1 chips to the logicboard. But i cannot find any info about the chips on google... Any infos?
