1.1.3 Jailbreak... released!

how do you get custom ringtones on your 1.1.3 jailbroken phone? SendSong isn't installing for me.
 
iphone 1.1.3

so it took me about 30mins to complete the update/upgrade process, and my phone is working perfectly on Rogers in canada. But its really killing me not to be able to play my itunes music, and have custom ringtones. those are the only apparent problems that i see. and its enough to make me want to go back to 1.1.2.

I'm on a intel mac, and i'm wondering what would be the easiest way to downgrade my iphone. and will i have to sim unlock it again if i downgrade?
 
UK O2 phone 113 and BB jailbreak no signal

I have an UK O2 phone on O2 contract and was jailbreaked on 112.

I did the jailbreak 113 and it worked OK. I decided to restore 113 to update the BB and then jailbreak again. All went OK except now the phone function does not work. No error messages or invalid sim. Just no signal. Tried it a couple of times and makes no difference. Tried patching the 113 firmware downloaded through iTunes in case it was different for UK / US but that makes no difference.

Any ideas? Guess I'll have to make do with standard phone for a while :(

I hate to break this to you, but you're screwed for the time being. Don't worry though, you're not alone. I'm in the same boat.

The current 1.1.3 jb does not work with the 1.1.3 baseband. You can downgrade to 1.1.1, and then go back to a jb 1.1.2, its what I've done. The phone still won't work, but hopefully when the dev team bring out a real jailbreak, it'll work with the new baseband. For now, enjoy your iPod Touch.

Well in this site http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25185, it is explained how to get signal back but you will have to run scripts and commands when you restart/boot the phone.
 
My iPhone wont play music

I have jailbroken my 1.1.3 and everything is working besides the fact my iphone wont play music that i bought on itunes but will play the songs i got from other place. Is anyone else having the same problem?. Is there a fix availabe? sorry if this question has already been asked but any help would be appreciated

I updated my baseband for my ipsf unlocked phone. however for some reason I need to restart the signal.

Try installing the signal.app from this website to your applications dir via ssh: http://www.trick77.com/2008/01/26/jailbreakactivate-ipsf-113-iphone/
It should start your signal up again. However, for some odd reason, after you run it, it will cut off your sound. For this you should put in a pair of headphones with music playing and then pop them out. and all should be fine. You will need to restart the app each time you do a complete reboot of the phone.

Let me know if it works.

I am in Canada (using Fido, but still on Roger's network ;)) as well. When I upgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 all my music works fine and although I can't used SendSong, there is a better way. I use iTunes 7.4.1 and i just take any song (mp3) convert to aac (right click) and then change it to mp4 and sync my ringtones. No pain of restarting everytime I sync with itunes (like I had to to use my SendSong Ringtones. I hope I have helped you out to not have to go through crap to downgrade.
 
See my post above about using ITunes 7.4.1 I don't know if it will work with a newer version of iTunes but I know it was quite easy to get the old 7.4.1 version of iTunes and no pesky restart after every sync to get the custom ringtone to play.
Comes up in Sounds as Custom Ringtones :)

i unlocked my iphone using jailbreak 1.1.1 and after that 1.1.2
now i want to uprade to 1.1.3
i want to know if i can do it from itune or do u have to do the same thing as 1.1.2?
