Totally random: I remember long ago Microsoft had a commercial for, I think, Windows 7, which had a feature where you could drag and drop windows onto different sides of the screen and they would resize so you could have two different windows/apps/whatever open side by side. Can you do this? Right now I just manually resize and place windows, which is pretty archaic.

It's not built-in, but if you download BetterTouchTool (free) or Hyperdock (9.99) they both offer the feature. You'll never go back, it's awesome. Something Microsoft did really well.

I bought BetterSnapTool a while back. Worth every penny. Very configurable... even more so than default AeroSnap.

AeroSnap is one of the most awesome things MS has developed for their OS. Any computer that I use that doesn't have AeroSnap or Better Snap Tool drives me bonkers!

Did anyone notice way better colors and contrasts using Mavericks DP on a Macbook Air screen? I'm literally blown away by it but can't reproduce it in Mountain Lion. Copying the .icc profile doesn't do the trick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Really tempted to upgrade to see what the hype is all about.

Your not missing much. Most of the stuff mentioned early in this thread is basically the interesting stuff. Dp2 and 3 are fixes and I doubt Apple will tweak much more in mavericks. Im talking ui and speed of course.

One thing Apple hasn't done yet is fix the shutdown, apparently some guy said they did in last weeks build of 10.8.5 12f17. So there is that to look foward to.

Good to know. Guess I'll be waiting for the official release then!

App Store now shows update history.

There was an update for Mavericks DP3 pushed out today to address an issue with graphics drivers. Apparently it fixes a problem that could lead to a spontaneous reset. Sounds pretty scary.

After updating, Apple Maps is no longer glitching like crazy. It seems like it was fixed too. I think it was like accessing bad areas of VRAM before, because I noticed the glitches contained images of websites I recently visited in Safari. Lol.

Is anyone seeing this when trying to turn on keychain.

I *think* this is a bug in DP2. If you haven't already done so, update to DP3.

This was mentioned in the release notes.
When enabling iCloud Keychain, a blank sheet may appear. Force Quit System Preferences and retry.
Thanks mate, tried numerous times without success. Appearing for on multiple machines.
Edit: Am running DP3
