Is there a way in the GM to force a bottom 2D Dock?
Is it just me, or should they incorporate a little more of the flat design of iOS 7 into 10.9? like messages?
Is it just me or has mavericks totally ruined Safari reader? Reader isn't as clear and simplified as it is on ios7. I use reader a lot and I'm considering not updating to Mavericks just to keep it.

What's the difference from ML?
If Reader isn't doing it for you, check out the Readability browser add-on.
Not that we're aware of, yet. The old terminal command doesn't work anymore. Fingers crossed we learn of a new method for Mavericks. Because I vastly prefer a 2D dock on the bottom there (with darker contrast) too.
The 2d dock looks different now though, you won't have the dark look anymore.
I notice that in Mavericks, we're once again able to remove icons from Finder windows' "Sidebar" by click-and-dragging them away. They disappear in a puff of smoke, just like they used to. This functionality was removed in Mountain Lion, as far as I know, the only way to remove icons in that version of the OS was to control-click and select "Remove from Sidebar." Now, once again, I am happy to report, we can click-and-drag away, just like we can from the Dock.
It does work on ML too. You just have to drag it away and press the command key, then you release the icon. But it's probably better if it works like the dock, i.e. without the additional key.
When i delete something in OSX mavericks i do not get my space back, finder shows the same number in gigs for my space left on my drive. Deleted an 11 gig file, had 3.3gigs left and it didn't update giving me my 11 gigs back? Checked it with disk utility, repaired permissions, restarted the mac, booted up into recovery partition and still nothing. Can anyone confirm that it is a problem on their system as well?
What I don't like about the Readability extension is that by clicking the "Read Now" button, it formats the current text to be more readable (a la Safari Reader) but it also saves the article to your Readability account (a la Instapaper and Pocket.) The way I browse and read on the web, sometimes I just want to re-format the current page without necessarily saving that same article to a "read it later" service. And as best as I can tell, there's no way to do that with Readability, is there?
According to these articles (1, 2) when merging files from one folder into another in Mountain Lion, the default buttons that appeared on the file dialog were: Skip, Stop, or Replace. And if you help the Option key down, those buttons became: Keep Both, Stop, Replace. (You'd choose "Keep Both" if you wanted to merge.)
Now it appears in Mavericks, these are reversed. The default buttons that appear on the resulting file dialog are: Keep Both, Stop, or Replace. And if you hold the Option key down, those buttons become Skip, Stop, Replace.
(Note: the "Keep Both" command only appears for dragged files, not folders.)

Coming from windows, this never makes sense to me!
In windows, if I choose to merge it will come up there is an item with a same name do you want to skip ( apply to all ) This is great as it only copies the files that are not already in the folder.
How the hell do you do this on Mac?
Did they finally iMessages so that they order correctly? I know there was a ptach for ML (10.8.4?) that was supposed to specifically address this, but didn't do jack sh**t.
Not sure if this is a bug or if it was removed but any find that they can't swipe back/forward in Finder? I'm pretty sure this was possible with Mountain Lion, kind of disappointing that I have to click on the arrow to go back to a previous window.
Just wondering. When you click on a stack or right click on an icon in the dock. Does the popup menu thingy that comes up still look the same?
The black look fitted with the old 2d dock but now that the dock is white it would just look weird if it remained the same!
Holy **** that is sinfully ugly. Hate me if you will, but I honestly prefer the previous notepad look...
